The place is so new but the food is incredibly good. It blows my mind that you can go there right now and not have to wait more than 15 minutes to get one of the best briskets, ribs and sausage I've had in my life. I remember sitting in the dining room on Thursday afternoon feeling melancholic because I knew that the next time I came, we wouldn't be messing around in the back kitchen because the dining room was empty at 1pm. The people are too good, their story is too good, and the food is just way to good to not have a line out the door until sell out. This is probably what Daniel Vaughn felt like after he tried Goldee's for the first time hahaha I'll never forget the hospitality and just overall great time I had with Cooper, Shelby, Caleb and everyone at Bar-A. I'm telling you next texas BBQ crawl you do, add BAR-A to your list, you won't regret it! If you enjoyed the video give it a like and share it with your friends/family. I agree, I sell bbq at local farmer’s markets and events. Definitely tough days mixed in when you are ready to sell and no one shows up.

I can't believe there's any other kinds of days. Would you eat food out of an oven that looked like that? Why do BBQ places think it's just totally normal to cook food on filthy, rusting equipment?

​@@ev6558 Rusting on the outside doesnt mean anything about the interior. You try keeping a smoker totally clean in Texas humidity and heat. The heat and smoke will do a lot for sterilizing the inside of a smoker, and any decent BBQ joint is cleaning the inside of their smokers on a regular basis. Theyre always going to look black/dark inside, no way to change that without replacing the smoker.

I’ve been friends with Caleb since we were about 11 and it’s so great to see him and his family’s success with Bar-A. It’s also fun to see him being just as goofy in front of the camera as he is around us

I met some of the guys from Bar-A last month at the Goldee's class...they were all very humble and really nice guys. It's so awesome to see their success through passionately serving people with great BBQ. I live in socal, however they will be on my list when I make it back to Texas. I moved to Texas in 2007, and I love it here. I’ve put probably 10,000-15,000 miles on my truck just traveling for bbq. Now I added Bar A to my must try in the next month. These dudes and gal seem like people you have to meet

this is the type of guy who was made to cook Texas bbq. he’s exactly where he should be it’s awesome

My family and I landed here by accident, and Texas Monthly was so right about this spot. It is absolutely at the top of my list. Beef rib, brisket, and sausage were all something of dreams. Between this spot and Tejas Barbecue in Tomball, this area has barbecue covered for us.

Stopped by this weekend for the first time, nicest people ever! Cooper made sure every customer was happy with their purchase and his dad was out front handing out free beer while you waited in line. Top quality meats and sides, Stop by and support this family!

The food here is incredible. We stopped there while going through tx and I was so impressed. They gave us free cookies for the kids and came outside to hang out. Great food, great people!

Bro the editing in this is great, it’s like a legit Doc. Respect, I know how much effort goes into a video like this and just capturing what you want to be seen how you see it, Kudos.

First, amazing style of documentary/filming Secondly, you can just tell this family loves having this business Lastly, when he said “people will forget what you sold them but they wont forget how you made them feel” i felt that & hope nothing but great things for the business and their fam

I cried through the whole video. So cool to see the family work together. The guy with all his tattoos and his cross around his neck, and his smile. Wifey and baby in the kitchen. I love when you see people that love making other people happy in life. I am sure our family will meet them we live a few miles away in Montgomery County.

Genuinely made me happy seeing this video. Warms my heart seeing them have such passion and care for eachother.

The pace and editing of these videos is phenomenal. Great story telling.

I went there in February for a friends wedding that was happening close by. The owners are amazing and even got to chat with the guys and see the cooking set up. Very amazing to get shown around while they are working.

Man you deserve so many more subscribers, legit some of my favorite food content anywhere. Love your passion and keeping the focus on the people doing cool shit

Killer Video Ant! Love the Bar-A story, and your docs are among my favorite things on youtube. I accidentally stumbled on them via IG a few months ago and their stuff always looks killer. I’ve been drooling and wanting to visit ever since.

Sure wish I had known about these folks a month ago! Was just in Montgomery at a motorcycle training camp. What a great area and people! Next time I will definitely give Bar-A a try. Looks like great food and just as important( if not more ), great people! I was able to spend some time in Austin and had some incredible BBQ there, and in Lockhart. Central TX is truly a BBQ Mecca!

Just subbed after 3 videos I watched. Awesome concept/content. Straightforward, intimate, and behind-the-scenes, everything covered for a foodie, chef, or a business-minded viewer, but most importantly, a regular joe schmoe that wants some entertainment. Well done.

Ate here recently, and while I can’t say I’m a Texas barbecue connoisseur, I can say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Definitely the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I was very much looking forward to eating Texas barbecue for the first time, and after trying this, I thought, does it really get better than this? I went here knowing I’d likely be ruined for life and I’m more than ok with that. Thank you to the BAR-A-BBQ crew for doing what you do. Eating there is was an experience I will never forget. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I’ve tried them all. I said it the first time I tried Bar A and I’ll say it again. There’s a new Texas BBQ King. Long live the King

Went to Bar-A this past weekend because of this video, and I can HIGHLY recommend it. Everything was amazing, but what blew my mind was the sausage...sweet baby back ribs, that sausage was incredible. The beed rib was also a mind-blower. Staff was super friendly, place was very clean, and of course the bbq was on point.

That was a well made documentary. Now my mouth is watering
