The city of New York v. Homer Simpson was NOT "delayed for five years for September 11th." The episode came out in 1997. Some stations pulled it from re-broadcast after the attacks but it came out and was in regular syndication for years before 9/11.

While I am slightly disappointed that these are just old videos compiled together, I greatly appreciate you keeping the facts videos alive. They always help clear my mind of stress and replace it with cartoon characters 😊

Y'know, I really want a spinoff centered around Sideshow Bob and his family. It's criminal that Francesca and Gino didn't show up anywhere after Funeral for a Fiend, and it'd just be cute to see them together again (heck, they could even throw Cecil and the parents in there too if they could find a new VA for the dad)

I liked the one with Clinton and Dole "We are merely exchanging protein strings. If you could think of a better way, I'd like to hear it" and "Go ahead, throw your vote away" being favorite lines.

In the episode The Mysterious Voyage of Our Homer the voice of the coyote was actually supposed to be voiced by Bob Dylan but he turned it down so they got they got Johnny Cash to do it instead

I absolutely love e the Simpsons. I have rewatched the entire series twice taking about two months to watch every single episode. My most favorite though is when Moe finally finds love and meets Maya ❤

(Can't remember if that was the episode or if it was in another one... although I can't recall if there was any other instance of Springfield getting flooded with trash...)

I went to school when the Simpsons was first on back in the early 90s and it wasn’t just Bart T-shirts that were bad. It was anything Simpsons was banned from schools you could not have any simsons merch.

For number 29, Bart is 10 years old and the show first aired in late 1989. If he aged with the show, he'd now be 44-45 years old, not 34, it's the show itself that's 34 years old...

He would be 44 because he's 10 years old when the show began. Technically Bart Simpson

@5:28 Let's get some more context as far as this alleged "delay" they are talking about. The episode "The City of New York Vs. Homer Simpson aired on 9-21-97, a full 4 years BEFORE 9-11. So how was it delayed? I think someone missed the mark here. That episode however does feature the scene were Bart holds up the advertisement for the bus-ride to NY for $9. And the way it is laid out it has a giant $9 and then the two towers directly next to it makes it look like 9-11. This has often been seen as a "prediction" from the Simpsons.

@@JokersNtheOddball Did what on purpose? What are you referring to? The delay, the prediction, or 9-11? Are you referring to the 1st time the World Trade center was bombed in 1993? That was 4 years before the Simpsons NY episode, which was 4 years before 9-11.

The flier that shows the $9 and the WTC (which looks like an 11) was purely coincidental, I only used it as a reference to the community who find the various coincidences littered throughout the Simpsons show and categorize them as predictions. My original comment was in regards to the narrator claiming that the episodes premiere was delayed due to the 9-11 attack. It would have been impossible for the episode to be delayed for an event that had not yet happened.

@Onering80 except that the simpsons creative process has been controlled by sophisticated government technology, which... when understood makes it very easy to choke on the whole "conspiracy THEORY" idea. Once you know how the simpsons plays out unnoticed, you get a clearer picture of just how powerful the united states government really is.
