His speed off the floor is crazy, but he always stuck in his lockout. I think if his lockout will get stronger, we will see world record from him. The same problem with Makarov's deadlift actually.

Both Peiman and Ivan seem to struggle with the lockout, although another thing holding them back is how they deadlift heavy too often. If you don’t give your muscles enough time to recover, they won’t get stronger.

@@emersonvlog8902 i am not sure if he's ever gonna pull that weight. what I like about Edie and Thor is that they didn't have big mouth before pulling the weight. I believe they announced they are gonna try to pull 500 (break 500 - in Thor's case) and in a year or year and something they did it. These guys like Peiman or Makarov keep talking and talking and posting videos of closing on 500 but nothing is happening for like over 2 years. I was really rooting down for each one of them (also for Pavlo, Luke) just wanted to see somebody breaking that record again but nothing happen and it's just about having a big mouth. No doubt these guys are on a totally different level (or at least their drugs are), they are super strong but it appears they are not strong enough to even reach 500. And yeah, I tried to take a snip of all his lookouts and it doesn't seem he looked out properly on his 2nd and 3rd (even his knees look slightly bend on his 1st lift) but it also might be a camera angle (even a slightly different angle can change perception).

460kg was nice and locked out but his hips and knees were saggy AF on the 470+ pulls. I'd like to see strongman be more rigid about their lockout standards.

Given his pulling speed off the floor with 460kg, if he halves the weight to 230kg he’d likely have the momentum to get a little hit underneath it and fully power clean the weight

@@goodebening6564 snatch WR is way beyond any strongman's capability. It is the toughest thing to transition to and at this point any powerful enough strongman is too old to transition in time. You'd need thousands of hours of snatch training for it. Now for clean and jerk you can get away with a lot less technique and more muscle but I still think it's impossible, Lasha is simply too good.
