Anytime someone in sparring does goofy shit like that i always walk backwards and leave them there doing their retarded show boat shit. The reason that shit looks cool is because some fighters try and head hunt the show boater and swing like crazy which just feeds right into the trap. I figured that out when a More experienced fighter was shuffling and dancing around my punches so i decided to walk it back to the centre instead of head hunting like a fool and he just ended up looking silly and decided to actually box.

Go look at his cotto, berto, Canelo, Ortiz, Mosley fights he was coming forward and hitting those guys with shots left and right. People talk noise about him not coming forward but disregards the count less number of clean shots and the number of times he actually stands in the pocket and just uses his superior defensive skills to keep from getting hit cleanly. Maybe it’s not the embarrassment, have you seen how boxing has changed his father and uncle? Constant hits to the face is detrimental to your health

The Sparring partner is obviously Realizing why Floyd’s opponents’ Connection percentage and punch output drops so much. You can’t hit what you can’t catch. You tend to stop throwing if you keep Missing your target. And most importantly, if throwing a punch is not only going to result in you missing but also means you are going to get popped cleanly with a counterpunch, you tend to think thrice before committing
