I think the overhead light with the new setup would be perfect, little dark compared to older ones. Great video, best of luck on the grades, PSA has been very quick on bulk lately

it did get graded. i forgot the grade. maybe a 7 or a 5 hmmm

I've a few things for the personal collection off at PSA at the minute! The best card in it is probably a gold star Registeel I've had since I was a kid. Not expecting a good grade one it but happy to have one of my childhood cards slabbed! I sent a Giratina too but the centering isn't the best and theres a tiny bit of scuff in one of the corner, probably expecting a 9 with that. It's a bit awkward submitting to PSA from Ireland so I've been using a middleman who sorts everything with the exports and customs fees. I think theres something along the lines of a "temporary export" that can be used to avoid the fees. Lighting and stuff is all good on the video too. Easy to see the conditions of everything! It's been cool seeing you flick through a bunch of cards that I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. I've been really enjoying the videos and the advice you give. It's getting me to get off my ass and stop hoarding so much stuff I don't even collect and actually get going on some selling :)

i appreciate it all mate, good luck on your regi grade! shipping to psa internationally is a pain we unfortunately have to deal with ;( always here to help, ive been very fortunate to be in this position. so the least i can do is offer some advice here and there.

What card savers do you recommend using? and what are your thoughts on grading non holo E-series cards, i have a non holo gengar one of my favourite cards from the set but im not sure if its worth it.

i just use card savers from palms off gaming, but card saver 1s from cardboard gold are really good if you are in america

I really actually enjoy the yugioh content! I've always been heavily into Pokémon, but lately getting into Yugioh(but very very late to the game) and I love seeing it. It's a whole new world for me. I think it's cool you throw yugioh stuff in the mix! Binge watching your Japan trip today! Love it Steven!

I love the yugioh stuff too, it forces your brain to think more, i just listed all the yugioh cards i graded from this video too.. Got lots of 10s and im excited to keep going with something new

& my lcs is still charging $25/card to grade through them with PSA as far as I know 😂 This is why we grade ourselves. Sick submission man!

Great video. Regarding duty and taxes. Is it possible to fill in a form for temporary export? My reason for asking this is you are sending cards for a grading service with no expectation of a particular increase it value. You are paying for an evaluation service.

hey buddy, i am in australia so worldwide we all have different tax systems. As it stands here, it is a service you are paying for overseas and are required to pay GST under australian import law(?) some places in the world have workarounds, but we dont here. And since i'm a business, paying the import tax isn't a bad thing, but actually works in my favour. Thanks.

Amazing submission, best of luck! How do you feel about sending a mix of liquid and non liquid cards? Are you prepared to let the more niche cards sit on eBay for a while? I guess having so much variation is awesome. Also the little white things at the front of stormfront won’t be down graded :) psa have an allowance for it!

First thing, i got one stormfront charizard 10. thats cool, all the other ones graded terribly. GG And yeah i always do a mix, the in demand cards usually sell fast which pays for the grading fees on the illiquid, and then randomly every week ill sell a few cards that are low cost but high margin that have been sitting for ages. Its always a game with this stuff. Ask this question on the latest ask steve and ill do a more of a breakdown for it

Im submitting the giratina alt art from lost origin as well as the mewtwo alt art from crown zenith. Both 10 contenders imo. Would u be able to do a video start to finish on sourcing the cards, sorting, grading and selling?

The pichu/pikachu you found in a bulk bin....what makes you want to grade that? I mean, I like the art...but are they low pop and thus will have a higher margin if they grade for a PSA 9/10, or is there some other reason....or no real reason at all other than you like the cards and people will buy graded Pikachu/Pichu holos? Webcame and recording are great, per usual.

i just like pikachu and pichu, they ended up grading a few 10s and few 9s, ive had great luck with selling psa 10 pikachus in the past, thats why i still do it

Could maybe throw the face cam in the top right instead of top left. Purely just because you seem to centre the pile you're going through and then move them to the left; so may as well have the face cam on the right since there's often nothing on that side of the overhead shot 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ not that it really makes any difference. Sick submission 👌🏼

its a good idea, i put my webcam in the top left because thats where my face is on the screen so when i look up im kind of looking at myself so its not as bad, i dont know how to explain it haha. I'll keep tweaking it as i go in the future

Do you just walk away when prices are too high in japan? Seems like you found tons of good stuff at reasonable prices.

Definitely, but I also searched for 12 hours a day and 14 days straight. I saw a lot more I didn't buy than I did buy, I also have a bigger budget than most so I can afford to buy the non perfect deals

Very thought out process for grading and video. I have a few to send off but everyone is still charging $35-$45 a card even though PSA have this special on. RIP

@@WyattsCollectibles yeah I have, but some of the more trusted middlemen are up there. I have some very pricy cards so I know I’ve gotta step up my researching before submitting. Just venting I guess lol

@@itmebakadesuif they are pricey, PSA would charge you 35-45 anyway. I paid 150 to grade a lusamine card of mine because after hitting a 10 it’s worth 2k ish

@@UrAveragePlayer0 yeah see that’s the thing I don’t appreciate from PSA. I used to grade loads of cards with them, then I started to just focus on collecting for my binder instead. Thankfully this was just as they had the backlog, and started up charging. Last sub took 26 months. But giving a higher grade to then charge more from your customer like it’s a reward to themselves for grading high is whack to me.

That's a lot of expensive cardboard

id love to help man but its just gonna be way harder for you, maybe try to find a USA middleman that can help you out it will make the cards travel a lot less.
