Question - and sorry if you have covered this product before but have you used that drywall product that is for butt joints that is basically a piece of plywood or OSB that is about 4 ft long and a few inches wide and its thickness is milled like a slight V shape where the deepest point is in the middle of plywood and tapers thicker towards both edges. From what I remember with this product you dont put your drywall joints on the center of a stud like normal but instead cut them to length so that they meet in between two studs. You set a sheet of drywall like this then you screw the v-panel product to the butt edge of the piece you just set and leave half of it sticking out so that the next piece goes over the other half of the V panel and when you screw them both to the v panel it causes the 2 butt ends to recess a little bit so that when you put the bed coat and tape on it will be slightly below the plane of the drywall face and is supposed to result in butt joints that can be finished with 1 coat of mud. I saw Home Depot was selling it now online but never heard anyone use it before and I was wondering since the buttjoints are placed in between studs would that make them more prone or less prone to foundation settling cracks?

I wish you had spent more time on the corner bead roller. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Level 5 doesn't offer one. I don't want to spend a fortune on a Columbia, but they have the self adjusting one. Is that type really worth it?
