Thundarr The Barbarian is one of the best cartoons of the 80s I would love to see a reboot to this classic cartoon you can literally write a film from just one of those episodes of thundarr that's how good those episodes were I really wish that cartoon would have lasted longer I'm glad I grew up in the 80s there was just such amazing cartoons in those times.

Thundarr the Barbarian was an absolute classic. I think what always struck me the most about the series was all the recognicable landmarks after the natrual disaster laid waste to them. Not only did it give a certain eerie atmoshere to the scenery but I love how they alway played a part in the theme or plot of the episodes. And yes, I'd love a reboot/revival of the series. Especialy one with improved animation and a story that can flesh out the characters. I also wouldn't mind a darker, more mature take on the series. Maybe one that could air on Adult Swim next to Unicorn Warriors Eternal and Primal.

Fun fact, Zevon’s name comes from the singer Warren Zevon. Zevon is famous for the song “Werewolves of London.” This episode was too on the nose with that reference.

one unintentionally genius aspect was that the main cast were designed by Alex Toth instead of Kirby. Also Kirby didn't write the world setting, Toth did. The juxtaposition makes things feel just a bit disjointed, but it makes the world have more depth. The heroes stand out from the villains due to having a subtly different design aesthetic. And some of the villains you go "wait, what? why???" because while as it's own thing it easily makes sense, it doesn't fit neatly into the big picture. But it's not that it doesn't fit, more that you don't understand HOW. It's the sort of background info that just doesn't fit into episodes, and would need to be in a book.

I can't believe that after all these years they've made so many remakes of 1980's cartoon series like Voltron,Transformers and G.I. Joe for example and Thundarr is the only one that has never gotten a remake or even a movie which I would like to see or maybe even if they did a movie it would be nice to see it as a origin movie of like what happened on Earth the day that runaway planet that nearly destroyed the Earth and what happened with the aftermath and how the 3 heroes met now that would be nice to see.

I wish. Hanna-Barbera would give Thundarr a comic book of his own! Thundarr is a great warrior with indomitable willpower! enhanced strength, durability against injury, and incredible healing factor on him. All they need is a potential writer who has great ideas and creations for Thundarr the Barbarian storylines. Ookla is incredibly strong like that and a good friend to Thundarr and Ariel ought to possess more knowledge of magic like Dr. Strange. I don't know too much about Ariel and Ookla's origins. It is a mystery to me.

I would like to know more about the sun sword's back history. It had to been created by twentieth-century scientists, and since it's only allows Thunder to wield it, there must be a genetic biomechanical lock to it to prevent others from using it. Yes I am aware of the episode in which Thunder had to touch the sun sword to a regarded magical pool to become the sun swords Master again but there has to be a scientific origin to the Sun sword's creation there cannot be just a magical origin the sun sword has too much a science feel to it

Hmm... pretty good video summary. But as I'm seemingly one of the top Thundarr nerds on the planet(I helped write a wiki about it)... I noticed a few things you messed up.. Mindok isn't a cyborg. Octagon didn't die.... Skullus's battledroids are energy constructs, not robots. Khromm, Argoth, Valerie Storm, Mazem... spelled wrong... the wrong spelling is due to the last letter missing. Sarott(and probably several others) you pronounced it wrong... like REALLY wrong. It's suh-Rott. The grizzly Snake is a monster... not a character. Tye's friend Arak is more deserving of mention. Seriously, I'm pretty sure you read the wiki me and Malcadon wrote... pay more attention next time! Also it'd have been better if you mentioned which episodes each character was in. You did them in a weird random order.
