Great video from a user's perspective. I just picked up the 65 inch Q7. Hard for me to break away from Samsung and Sony. I had never even heard of TCL, until a few days ago. Reading specs and comparing pricing with the other manufacturers, I had to give it a shot. I had to laugh when you mentioned that some people just watch TV and 780p is good enough. So true. LOL

First off. I bought this tv because of you last review and I am extremely happy I pull the trigger on this. I had my last tv for 10 years so this is a vast improvement. I purchased this tv last week for $699 on sale at best buy and used some of my Amex points to purchase it which only came out to $200 out of pocket. So I got a phenomenal deal on this tv. Thanks for all your reviews. I think you should do tv reviews full time. You have a talent for it!

Come back in 24 months and let everyone know if your TCL is still working. That is the sweet-spot for component failures for TCL televisions (hence the 1-year *limited* warranty)

Just ordered it, replacing my TCL 4 Series which was great and still working great even though I had a few hiccups a few months ago. Kept cutting off and on

I thought the motion processing on this tv was terrible but I didn’t have dynamic acceleration or clear led motion on so maybe I missed out. Clear led seemed to lead to flicker on my tv.

Loved this review. I currently have a TCL window air conditioner. and that thing works amazing! I have a Samsung Refurbished tv I bought on eBay. It works great, I've had it since 2018. Oh, one more thing, I know you’re not really into the advanced features, but there is only one simple feature in advance. I think a lot of people overlook, Hass to do with your color space, some TVs will have it on auto, but if you want 10 big colors to be in full range, I would change the color space to native, should give you better details and deeper colors, especially in HDR

Great review. Loving my 75" q7. Such a great tv for what you pay. I keep my settings very similar to your. Only thing different is I keep LED Motion Clear off. It looks better to me with it off, but I will check it out again and compare the differences being on vs off.

any ideas why hooking up a firestick to the hdmi ports makes it have a buzzing noise? i even tired a fire cube same thing. nothing else hooked up so theres no interfearance as its the same exact setup as my smaller samsung tv i had right before it. trying to find a fix before i return the tv

Question for you ... I use an Apple TV device as my primary streaming platform device. So, because this TCL tv comes pre-loaded with the Google TV streaming platform (and it looks like that's the forced initial page that it launches with when turned on) do you know if I can plug my Apple TV device into one of the three HDMI ports (say HDMI 1) and set the TV to default open to HDMI 1 every time the TV's turned on and bypass the Google TV default display?

What soundbar do you really recommend?? I want something with good bass 😅

Can you compare this tv to your 85" s-class?

would really love your advice on the TCL - 65" Class Q5 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV versus the Samsung 65" class CU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV. I'm really just looking for great 4k and HD quality for movies and TV shows. I don't game or anything else really. I want a bright, really crisp image. Both fall in my price range. The TCL is listed at $600 but on sale for $400. The Samsung is $429. I'd really appreciate your view here, man, as I'm a newbie with no real knowledge to fall on and I'm really pressed with time.

picked up one on sale 319, now waiting on the qm8 to go on sale anytime. new 24s coming out.. will be a New OM6 pro soon.. cheers

What's the difference between this and 65q670G

Just ordered a 55 inch model from Amazon for $549. Also, if you have an amazon credit card, it's 5% cash back

Thinking about getting the 55 inch model and with the warranty coverage I can get it for $482 If I decide to get it I was going to buy a PS5 and use it together. Better than led tv? Thoughts? I enjoy the live streams and different content. Thanks.

It is a QLED tv so the quantum dots will have better picture clarity for games, especially with accelerated frames, supposedly it comes with amd free sync so the ps5 in 4k 120hz should work and look good

How does this compare to the r646 6 series? I love that one.

Are the TV’s feet reversible? Amazon says the 55’s feet are & the 85’s aren’t but no one has said one way or the other for the 65”

Smart hdr is only good for animation/cartoons where it makes them pop and make older animation/cartoons look like the content just came out. For movies/shows etc smart hdr pushes colors too much and doesn't look natural. if you calibrate movie mode correctly it has the best qaulity in terms of image.

What’s going on J Williams can you do a review on this TV with sports on like football or maybe baseball on? I would like to see them picture in the smooth quality of it. Can you do that J? @j.Williams
