honestly a staple of the series, in ALTTP, one of the ways to quickly kill the flail guard holding the key to Zelda's cell is to use two of the three pots in the next cell over. you even see speed runners doing it.

that really is good plot continuity.

Between the two versions I’ve played this game half a dozen times, but never knew half of these! Also, another hidden rupee spot is in the cave with the Thrill Digger game, if you shoot the gems on the walls.

Really cool how you can see some of the physics interactions that would become a staple in Breath of the Wild. You can definitely tell things were heading in that direction after looking back at all the random easy-to-miss stuff they added to Skyward Sword.

Despite it's census, I really enjoy Skyward Sword. I've been playing it nonstop ever since I got it a week ago. I think it balances the stylization of Wind Waker and the matureness of OOT well. It's gameplay aspects are reminiscent of BOTW and it's obvious that this was the blueprint of it. The main gripe I see with this game are the motion controls, but the button only controls on the switch are more than sufficient. Also, the tools Link acquires are super fun to play with. Dual wielding the clawshots and using the whip to defeat the Ancient Automaton was amazing.

46. You can use sword beams to defeat Stalfos by hitting them when they are attacking. 47. If you have the fully powered up master sword and have it charged you can defeat the spider enemies with a vertical spin attack in one move. 48. You can use sword beams to defeat Lizfols knocking them in thier back 49. You can shoot in the gaps of the moblin shields with arrows. 50. You can fire a sword beam at multiple bokoblins and kill them in one hit with fully master sword. 51. There are multiple ways to defeat demise, big catching, electric sword beams or treating him like an electric Bokoblin. 52. You can knock the sword out of Ghirahim s hand in the final fight 53. If you use the wind gust when a Lizfols is breathing fire you can stun it and shoot an arrow at it. 54. You can put out fire keese with the gust bellows.

Those yellow fruit/ gourd with the handle get stuck on the sword if you thrust at them. You can then carry them and fling them.

I've played through the wii version way too many times, love the game. The only surprising ones for me were the hidden hearts/rupees./seeds. I knew the others. Also bomb the sheikah stone to make it be a rocket

I know. All these silver rupees are easy to get. You could farm it by getting them, saving, going to the main menu, returning, and get them again. It isn't the most efficient way, but a way

So basically anything with gust bellows is automatically 10x better is what I get from this

i always saw it as a tribute to the old games where Link could shoot sword beans when he was at full health. It looks identical.

Same! I tried just about every one of my items on it. I even tried to cook a bomb in the pot, but it didn't work, as there wasn't a hitbox that would let the bomb stay in the pot. It was the same with the rupees in the Bokoblin's tools and sacks on the wall in their huts.

I love the rolling boulder physics.😅 And the rest of interactions of many elements was amazing! I love the game puts an perfect perfomence of all mechanics. 😙👍

Skyward Sword is my all time favorite Zelda game. It’s great to see it getting love. These are awesome finds, thank you for sharing!

My favorite had to be Cupid Link - that was pretty cool. Spicy Meatball was also pretty funny. I actually did find each of the hidden rupees shown, because just a few months ago I actually went through the whole world right near the end of the game, using my rupee-dowsing ability to search them out. (Couldn't use it in dungeons, though, so I just had to be thorough.) I was very surprised when I found some pretty substantial ones I'd never known about back when I played the Wii version thoroughly, like the two silver rupees on top of the structure that you emerge from when you first enter the Sand Sea region from Lanayru Caves. Took me a little while to figure out what the dowsing notification was even pointing to. Even once I detected they were up there, it was *very* difficult and tricky getting the beetle to reach them before it would run out of stamina. Really obscure place to put those.

Bombs have physics too, you can put them on the ground and moove them with the gust bellows. Flower bombs that grow on the ground can also be grabed with the whip.

I didn’t think I’d see the day where people would say belly physics are super cool

When the bat attacks, if you shield bash it, the bat falls and can receive a fatal blow. An epic way to kill a bat!!!

Something about the "air shield" made me chuckle hard..I love it

I think Deku Babas are programmed to lunge at any relatively small object Link can pick up and throw. The interaction with the fruit is identical to their interaction with Bombs, which is itself identical to an odd interaction they can have with Timeshift Orbs. I'll have to try it on bushes and pots whenever I get the chance.

Now try to see, if these interactions were in, skyward sword for the wii. Because, i am pretty sure, most of these interactions, were just taken from the wii version and placed in the switch version, so its not really new. So, really its interactions, you might not know in skyward sword HD & Wii Version.

I found a hidden green rupee at the entrance to the woods that I don't think i've seen in a video yet. I didn't test it though, it was just by accident, so its possible I hit something I didn't know was there. But theres like a vine looking thing on the left wall and I shot at it with the scatter shot and a green rupee fell down. So idk if it was me hitting the vine that caused it or if one of the scatter shot pellets went over the wall and hit something out of the playable area.

You missed the hidden rupees in the door to Skyview Temple but you can only get them before opening the door. I found this out because the tablet said to shoot a crystal to open the door so I shot the gems on the door not realizing the crystal was on the ceiling and got some rupees out of it.

Okay, for the unlikely case I will ever play this game again, I should remember: Bombs solve everything XD Also, neat that you can pierce hearts with arrows - while you cannot GRAB anything with the effing CLAWshot!

Love all the details I didn't know. Just know about one I'm surprised I didn't see in your video. The Sheikah Stone Flying It happens if you explode all the bombs around the "Sheikah Stone Ballet". I don't know if it works with the other. I just found out it flies away after my bf told me we had to use bombs on it in OOT. We both played this game but I never knew bombs would do something on those.

Also, I’m a huge fan of skyward sword (played through it multiple times) and there were still quite a few in this video I didn’t know about. You won’t find a lot of this stuff out unless you go out of your way to try shit out. Look throughout the comment section and you’ll find other people who also didn’t know many of these
