Hi! Color testing complete--thanks for the feedback in the last video! This will be a mini-series of this color palette--so no more than 3 or 4 painting because I already have another color combination in mind and I'm itching to try it! Plus, I have a big tutorial video coming out next week that will be much longer and more involved and I can't wait for you guys to see that one! Anyway, this is an 18" square cradled wood panel, and I only slightly modified it so it's not a true deconstructed bloom technique. I love the movement in this piece and think it's a great representation of fluid art/acrylics pouring. Let me know what you think!

Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the substrate: PPG Multi-Pro in Eggshell.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe: mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); and Valspar High Gloss Ultra Base C Untinted base (Lowe's). 50/50. Mix well. NO varnish added!
Brands/Colors mixed:
Pigments: For a 3 oz cup I add 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of pigment powder to the cup, then add enough gloss varnish (any brand; I use JoSonja gloss varnish) to cover the powder. Mix well until all pigment is thoroughly wet; then add the pouring medium.
Golden Fluid Acrylics in Iridescent Bright Gold, and Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold. This Little Piggy pigments in Enchantment and Waterfall. Holcroft tube paint in the color Princely Purple and Pool Party.
Golden, Atelier, and Da Vinci Fluid Acrylics: I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade. Mix well.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick I add a squirt of Golden's High Flow Medium (thins and extends acrylic colors) and stir well. All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator Color: Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Prussian Blue. Approx. 3:1 Floetrol to paint.
