Yes it will mat up. Use a blend hair and cut it off the weft. It's better to use blended hair or human hair for anything like this.

For Beauty specifically, just type "no cornrow crochet Beauty Can Braid". She will mention it's "Jazz Nicole" method (the originator of the said style). You can also for general purposes look up "no braid crochet".

A lot of people just pull their hair into a ponytail or gel it down and just crochet/latch hook. I've done that waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy before these tutorials were a thing, and none of the hair slipped out.

Question. When or are you sapose to provided hair and Mel and edge control for your clients? If so how do I charge them accordingly? Ty.

I think it's ideal to have people bring their own hair, but if you're gonna provide it, charge extra money. Gel and edge control would be ideal to own, since they expect you to own that stuff, another reason is if they were to provide it and they could possibly forget to get it back or you forget to return it to them

The stylist usually provides that unless the client just desires to bring their own or otherwise stated by either party. Usually isn't an extra charge for that.

I would add 20 to style if your providing the hair. I have my own products which i dont charge for but u have to charge accordingly because products have to be replaced at some point. Providing hair is a choice not mandatory.

It's up to you whether you want to supply hair as a stylist. You can price it with the style or you can charge separately. Hair products you must provide. Buy what fits your budget and works for you

I think the style is cute but with minimal curly hair because it will tangle before the braids actually age. Sometimes it makes the style look messy once the curly hair becomes tangled. Very thin pieces spaced put throughout the style is better. But I'm sure the client wanted this specific look as well.

Quan I agree it's alot for me too because I have such a peanut head lol but I would definitely use a different curl pattern and alot less curls
