Usually by this time of year the snow is almost hip deep in northern wisconsin. No snow has been awesome to work in.

Good information about how the job is probably laid out for the guys who follow you to pull the wood out to yard once you've done your part. Watching you struggle up that slope in all your gear with a saw sure reminds me or what it was like trying to keep up with my Dad in deep snow when he'd got us into a bunch of elk in the Montana mountains. No easy thing.

Easy breezy cutting, but looks hard getting around in the deep snow.

I'd like to see some scenarios where you pound in a power wedge and then a k&h into the same tree. Also just more content you using both wedges in general. Obviously, when trees require wedgeing. Also abit converned how durable they are compared to the k&h wedges. Enjoy your videos and your control over the refraining from the more colorful speach. (cussing)

Hmmm your on yo something, back in my F&G days we used to get a few aluminum wedges and take them into the chop and grind them down, we knew they had their place in our belts, yup way back then, those we knocked with the saw we could and would rework, id have to look, I think there are a couple in my old falling box along with some Stihl tools, though of taking them to Donny a few times, I don't have to work on my 060s or 090s any more, they hang in my man cave shop, someday they will be antiques, lol.

Damn, that's some beautiful but rugged country you're working on Bjarne. As if the bush and terrain isn't tough enough to work on during the fine dry seasons of the year. It's a much more difficult, and strenuous work out over the winter you're being exposed to, with deep snow bogging down your every step just clearing the brush tramping from tree to tree. My father used to say; "Being a logger is a hard mans game an not for the weak of body or mind" " "but a logger that works the winter snow is a different beast altogether" On yah Bjarne, swish demo with your power wedge, it slid in & lifted the back cut lickety-split. Cheers for another mighty fine reel.

I’m going to buy one of your wedges and I have a product idea for you. Last year I bought one of your sweaters and love it. Every spring, I walk all of my trails through the woods with the chainsaw on my shoulder, cleaning up the blow downs from the winter. As result, I tear the bees out of the shoulders of all of the clothes I’m wearing. Would you consider in your design to include a rugged fabric on top of the shoulders. Please let me know if you read this comment otherwise I’ll include it again at a later date.

Then arriving tomorrow morning you will discover that a Bigfoot had moved in over night and felled all the tree's that you had planned to fall yourself, You might find Bigfoot's note, "Three tins of corned beef please".

depends on the lean less lean less effort, going to be hard to give a comparison as no two trees are the same and even driving two wedges side by side they help each other even if they're the same size.
