Almost five in ten banking customers prefer mobile transactions over the counter transactions. According to the latest banking customer satisfaction survey by the KPMG the surge in mobile banking transactions is due to a youthful banking population in Kenya. The research further shows forty two percent of the banked population in Kenya use Mobile App as their preferred channel to interact with the bank, with bank branch ranking second at 24% and the least preferred option being internet banking at 4%.
