I been listening to Tsjuder excellent Black Metal.. i’m over 50 and remember when my beard was as red as yours not so many years ago..been listening to metal since a teen in the 80’s so much extreme metal I searched out on my own before the internet, Venom , hellhammer , Celtic Frost, Death discovered in the 80’s never heard before just picked at local record stores because of cool artwork and such ! Love some Punk too Metal and Punk are still my life

Right on! Yeah, man. Besides Immortal, which came first for me, Tsjuder - Desert Northern Hell was one of the first black metal albums I ever picked up. I had just turned 14 when it came out, and was blown away at the time by how ferocious it was. Record shopping in the 80's sounds like such a blast. Could only imagine what it was like finding Scream Bloody Gore on the shelves in '87! It's awesome that you're still into this music all these years later. I've met plenty of people that just stopped after the 80's, due to personal taste or families, or whatever. When I hear shit like that, I assume they were just never really into it, and perhaps just wanted to fit in. Keep doing what you do, man! And thank you for checking out my channel!

Always happy to re-visit the eighties. Lots of people do shit on " Out of the Cellar " and " Don't Break The Oath " but i do like both of them. Plenty of fun and epic picks from that year Trevor. Nice one mate. Gonna have a look for that Omen album!.

I'm glad you brought up the point that people shit on Don't Break The Oath, cause I'm starting to notice that. Even in person, I've heard, "They lost me after Melissa". Maybe it's because the songs on DBTO are a bit more prog-ish. I dunno. Yeah, pick up that Omen record! And then, the following two releases. Amazing as well. Thanks for watching, Keith!

People shit on Don't Break The Oath? Makes no sense. How can you like Melissa and not DBTO? Same style of songs and Melissa already had some progginess going on. Both albums are 10s.

    1. WASP - Wild Child, Venom - Nightmare, and probably Ramones - Pet Semetary 2. I have Out in the Cellar on CD as well, so I can take that out and about. I need to get Defenders on CD or tape, since my LP is sort of beat up anyway. 3. I haven't bothered with making mixtapes. 4. As in best album? Probably Omen. 5. Ratt

Multiple problems with the video. 1. Hat isn't on sideways; 2. 1984 by VH is the best 1984 album from any category; 3. Not sure how you can't like Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. Great epic track whose length fits the Coleridge poem well; 4. Back in the Village stinks, 2 Minutes to Midnight is good, but overrated, and the Duelists is one of my favorite Maiden songs. 5. What Pearcy lacked in range he made up for in attitude and sleazy vocals; 6. Wayne is an excellent metal vocalist. His sound is super original and his range is great. Tops singer in my book. The first three Metal Church with Howe are must owns too; 7. I got that Horna logo shirt, but without the sleeve print.

Should have left the sticker on my hat, too. All the homies and bitches in the club would approve. The Howe albums are exceptional. Rime of the Ancient Mariner is constructed well. Just never grabbed me. I got this shirt from Osmose Productions a couple years ago. Sudentaival has always been one of my favorite Horna records.

@@FumesofHatred Mariner is supposed to grab you and do what, lmao. Great main riff to that track with the lyrics riding atop as though on a tumultuous sea. Then the mellow ghost part followed by that kick ass riff combined with Bruce' amazing vocals then howling leads, and back to the main killer riff. IF you wanna live in Hawaii and sail the seas you gotta revisit Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Horna is a great band as is Behexen and Sargeist featuring some Horna members. I kept the sticker on my flat brimmed Show No Mercy hat cause I am a Slayer homie.

@@deathevokation1017 Guess it just gives me scurvy. The only sea I wanna be riding with Maiden is Sea of Madness. The first 2 Behexen albums are scary good. Especially, By The Blessing of Satan. I like their entire discography, but they are slipping a bit. I'd say since My Soul For His Glory. I haven't listened to Sargeist since 2010. I know they pumped out a couple more albums afterwards. Maybe, I oughta check those ones out.

@@FumesofHatred Behexen owns. I saw 'em in 2016 in Chicago. The last two Behexen are a bit slower and more rocking in terms of riffs, but the dark ambiance resides as does the black metal emanations. My Soul For His Glory is underrated, and the song Cathedral of the Ultimate Void rips hard. Older Sargeist rules too. Score the boxset and you'll be set.
