I stayed at several really nice hotels and resorts all over Vietnam but that one is really beautiful, that private pool was money.

Max videos are always so relatable and charming. I love how he embrace the vietnamese culture and language.

Not to knock you, but I think it's sad if someone has never been to a restaurant or movie alone. If you have a day off or are running errands and are hungry do you just not eat? Time to start enjoying your own company! Just about every travel vlogger is doing it daily also.

Hi Max, what a lovely resort, thanks for sharing. I think it is a special gift to be able to enjoy a lovely resort and a meal alone, not many people are able to treasure and appreciate. Yes, lovely to have someone to share an experience with, but, life and circumstances don’t always allow. If you can’t go alone, some would never go anywhere and miss so much. Again, thanks for sharing ☺️

I travel solo a lot, I went to Korea back in June. It was my first international trip after all the difficult lock downs, especially military lock down, here in Saigon.If you're heading to Phu Quoc, be sure to stay at the La Veranda! It's stunning.

Your videos just make me missing vn so much. It always give me a huge smile everytime when i’m watching it and i enjoy it a lot. Thank you for posting !! Being alone at a resort and eating alone shows me you got self-confidence!

As a vietnamese , I even have a hard time understanding Vietnamese from different religions of Vietnam. My sister in law is from central Vietnam, I swear I could barely understand her dialect. Don't know how Max did it.

That is TOTALLY my type of resort! I love Love LOVE how they incorporated the greenery and nature into the whole theme of the place. It's so beautiful and soothing to the eyes and soul! (the ears not so much since they are under construction - hahaha!). I think it's totally worth it as I've had to pay about that much for chain hotel rooms where I don't get a beautiful bedroom, bathroom, private pool/patio, etc. I love how private and secluded it seems, too!

Damn Max sorry for that one guy asking if you have friends, he didn't mean to insult you. Our way of starting small talk is a bit different than in the West, though, that meant he/she cared about your wellbeing and would offer a friendship if you needed one. I myself would rather enjoy a nice resort trip without friends and family, definitely need a quiet therapeutic space to fully experience everything. Superior content as always! Just know you made people's days a lot better

This video was so funny and entertaining throughout. Thanks for the giggles from the sneaking in the cheap snacks into a fancy resort, to the comments about being single at a romantic resort (I would have loved it myself as it didn't appear overran by couples), to the snail, etc. Cannot believe you hate hot and cold desserts! Those are the best! I mean come on, warm brownies/cakes/pies/cookies with ice cream?!? Those are the best desserts ever!
