The thing about him that continues to amaze me is that he “misses” pitches that he still hits out. His power the other way is going to EXPLODE when he starts really trying to go the other way instead of just being strong enough to muscle it out that way even though he pulls off of some of those pitches. He seems to adjust rather quickly to whenever pitchers try to pitch him differently than they had been. Scariest thing of all is that he hasn’t even started to get his “man strength” yet. When he gets to 24-25 years old, he’s going to see an uptick in his natural strength.

Eric Davis was 3 home runs away from 40/50 club in 1987. Imagine if he woulda got that. Then Canseco 1988 getting 40/40 wouldn't have been nearly as big news. Also Davis was 20/80 club in 1986
