    😱 Wow, I’m really lost for words after seeing all those beautiful oversized specimens. The polished rose Quartz was absolutely beautiful, but the Meteorite in the Statue had to be the most unusual. Not forgetting the Labradorite table, 😀. Thanks for making such a special episode, I really enjoyed it. Yes, I’d love to see more like this please. 😁

    I have another question. Does your company or the artist put a protective coating on all the minerals and gemstones? Do you have to protect against weathering, or the elements? Or does some of the weathering and oxidization make the minerals look more beautiful?

  • @gems

    @gems

    2 жыл бұрын

    With something like a table, a protective coating is likely. But the display pieces are likely all natural. This where it helps to have a professional gemologist arranging the specimens. They know what can withstand the elements and what, for example, needs to be positioned away from direct sunlight.

    @@gems oh that's awesome. Yeah I was thinking about the gemstones and all the natural light, and I was wondering that too. I've seen what can happen when you leave a crystal ball out. And with the gemstones having all those randomly pointing facets, it's probably a good thing that you guys have all those translucent and opaque stones.
