Thanks for watching everyone! Also... does any one actually like completing the square? 🧐

I like it when the best teacher has the unique way of teaching. everyone enjoyed and understood math
OMG ONLY MATH TUTORIAL IVE BEEN ABLE TO UNDERSTAND IVE BEEN THINKING IM STUPID BRO THANK U
omfg this saved me, i literally was ripping up my pages until i found ur video. its the only one i can understand. i love maths but i hate my maths teacher so much and they genuinely haven't taught a thing the entire semester (im not even kidding i could go on a 10 minute rant about it), thank you so much.
This helped me so much, thank you!
THIS IS THE VIDEO I NEEDED!! I HAVE A TEST TMR AND IT HAS EVERYTHING. THANK YOU.
Thank you so much this made so much sense!!!

How do you do the factoring method if there is no ‘b’ value? For example: x^2-49=0
@yourmathtutorvids
Жыл бұрын
oo for those, try to see if both values are perfect squares. In this case, the first value (x^2) and the second value (49) are perfect squares, so you can use the "difference of squares" rule where a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b). I don't have a video on that but i'm sure another youtuber does. (btw using the rule, x^2-49 factored is (x+7)(x-7))

How would you use the square root method to solve 6x^2 -23x=18
@maalikserebryakov
Жыл бұрын
you don’t It only works when there’s no x term. You are dealing with a standard Quadratic
for the quadratic formula of the b is already negative do we turn it into positive ?
@yourmathtutorvids
Жыл бұрын
depends on the problem! for example in something like 2x^2+3x+4, b in this case is +3. So when you plug it into the quadratic formula, it would be -3. For example in 2x^2-3x+4, b in this case is -3. So when you plug it into the formula, you get +3
can i ask a question? How did u got the "25-24" in quadratic formula?
@yourmathtutorvids
Жыл бұрын
Yes! So just looking at the part under the square root (b squared-4ac)… when I plugged the numbers into the formula, I got (5 squared-4x3x2). So the 25 came from 5 squared And the 24 came from the 4 x 3 x 2
god bless your soul
i like the way you teach, very simple and also how yur honest😝, i hate the completeing the squre method too, its annoying 😔

Yeah it’s such a random (and long) formula but can be used to solve any equation in that ax^2+bx+c=0 format

oh man I kinda hard time learning this.. I'm so bad at math 😭 Apparently my friends who endured the 9th grade and my math teacher when i was in 8th grade said, "Math in grade 9 is hard" they were right 😭
I view the part of the video about completing the square. I understood the explanation of dividing and then squaring the b value and adding to both sides what I didn't get nor did I hear is what happened to the -10x ? To me it just disappeared. I could just say "OK" that's what you do. But I like understanding things and this bothers my brain. I know I will see this on tests and I could just do it but I wouldn't know why.
