An annoying thing someone can say to me is "why do you need another copy of the same book?" And just ugh

Hilarious yet so true! I've had multiple people tell me that "I probably don't have a life" and need to go out more. Or that my life is boring or I'm boring. I literally want to punch them. They just don't get it. And it's a little bothersome in the fact that readers don't judge how others live their lives but non readers love to comment on how we read too much. Is that even possible?

LOL this video is great! I hate when people say "you're so antisocial" when I'm reading. Or "it's just a book" when I get passionate about something in the book.

Relatable as all get out. "Movies are so much better than books." NO! Books are movies in my head with my choice of casting and without having to sit in the movie theater next to people like you!!!!!!!!!

So priceless and definitely true. I've had friends tell me that I needed to get out more because I was always sitting at home doing nothing. Nope. Wrong. I'm at home enjoying a good book. The 'do something productive' shit happened to me once and it was the fucking worse. Oh I'm sorry that I don't care that you told me to do something productive, It's probably because that advice comes from a person who spares his free time scrolling on instagram.

I really love it when people say because you like reading you probably do go outside a lot..... Yeah I love nothing more than sitting outside preferably by the sea with a book and a nice cold drink. Alfresco reading it awesome.

yes... reading is a very good hobby! but too much of anything is bad. So, you should not read books for the whole day! you should do other activities too!
