Very nice job. That is a mirror image of how I saw and split large Maple rounds. I have a 27 ton Troy-bilt splitter. Have yet to find the round it wouldn't go through. To heck with the haters. I know what we and our splitters are capable of. Proceed!

Alright finally see some one using the type of wedge I use I catch shit from the people I cut with from time to time let them use the steel wedges it don't do a chain any good if nicked

There is many better choices than metal wedges. In my opinion metal wedges are only for splitting. Thank you for the comment Alan!
