@@patiencewallace8453 me too. I’m legally blind. The method I NEVER could master was the egg between the 2 shell sides thing. Was REALLY FRUSTRATING. Slotted spoon looks much more manageable for my very limited eyesight

one tip i learned is that you should always crack the egg on a flat surface because if you crack it on a bowl the yolk is more likely to break

Idk I did it repeatedly in middleschool without issues I think I did 8 eggs and only broke 1 egg yolks. The trick was to use a longer bottle

Separating the egg with the shell is hard --- the yolk breaks every time, but the water bottle trick is so easy. I will alway do it this way.

My chef instructor taught me to manually scoop the yolk out using a spoon, its very risky because if you nudge the yolk it will ooze out and you wont be able to separate it. I"ll use the sloted spoon instead

I loved succeeding in that. On top of it I opened the eggs with just one hand!

I needed to see this because just cracking the shell and trying to get the white out wasn't working and the yolk would catch on the edge of the shell and burst. I give my cat a yolk now and then and apparently the white of an egg is not good for cats, so I'm sure one of these methods will get used. As an add on, the optimum temperature for keeping eggs fresh is 54% F.

Is the bottle method consistently keeping the yolks intact? It feel like half of them should break.
