4 Simple Ways to Generate Pipe Network Reports in Civil 3D

In Civil 3D there is always more than one way to do just about everything! Reporting and gathering data for output is no exception. If you ever need to get the data in a presentable manner, both inside and outside of the drawing, here’s a few ways and tips on how to do so easily.
Pipe Network Data
Once you’ve created a Pipe Network, you have a multitude of ways you can look at that data. Today we’re taking a look at some of the functionality of the ways listed below to view and export that data:
- Pipe Network Vista
- Pipe Network Reports from Toolbox in Toolspace
- Pipe Network Tables
- Pipe Network Project Explorer Object Set Report

    This is cool and all, but it's of little use in construction drawings development. All of this information would be reported on the Storm Analysis Table, and Sanitary Analysis table already. Most of which gets generated by exporting all the cad info into a calculation spreadsheet. What would be more convenient to know, is if there's a way to create a pipe and structure schedule that just adds up all the linear footage of each pipe size, and all the structures of same type.
