4 Rules for the Perfect MBA Resume

Putting together a resume seems like a routine task, which you may have done several times before: after graduating college, applying for your first job, making a career change. Yet, preparing your resume for business school takes a bit more special attention.
Oftentimes MBA applicants tend to stuff as many “highlights” into this document as they can, but this is not the best approach. When the admissions committees have over 20-30 pages of a complete application to review, the resume for business school should serve as a one-page overview.
David White, co-founder of Menlo Coaching, discusses the resume as the centerpiece of your MBA application. It needs to cover you as a whole person, it needs to be specific, and it needs to be targeted.

Always great content. Is it bad for an MBA candidate to have 5 companies they worked for on a resume in an 8 year period?

There are no black and white rules, but often staying at each company for a longer time allows you more chance to win promotions and advancement. Note also that you will have the chance to explain each departure on the online application form, so if there are specific reasons you left each of the jobs you can communicate that to the admissions officer.

Hii sir, I'm a student currently pursuing my second bachelors in a humanities. I'm also planning to do an MBA from top 10 US b.schools. But I wonder my low GPA in 1st undergrad might hurt my chances. So can I just hide my 1st degree and only mention 2nd undergrad in my mba application. Is it safe to hide certain educational information from the admission committee & what can happen if committee find it after I get an admitted. I know it's bit amature but still shouldn't it be on me to put my best on the table

When applying for an MBA you must disclose all undergraduate institutions you attended. Even if you were willing to omit it -- which is a bad idea -- they would wonder what you did from 18-22 years old.
