I know exactly what you're talking about as I'm currently experiencing that too, I have times when I feel bad for being at peace but lacking direction and not really knowing exactly what HIS purpose for my life is. I prayed about this yesterday and even now I just got out of prayer for this matter

I haven’t watched this video yet but I know that this is God’s whisper to me. I’ve been trying so hard to be closer to God. I always feel like I’m not doing enough. I’ve been off of social media, not watching tv, and I’ve stopped dating for about 5 months now. I just desperately want to know my purpose…I can feel myself slipping back into old habits and depression. I know that I shouldn’t be, but I’m afraid.

Lately i’ve been feeling very very aimless as i just don’t know what i want to do in my life careerwise etc. I also don’t have a lot of (christian) friends and this also really makes it difficult to see the purpose of my life. Praying to God he will help me find my purpose and calling!

Exactly where I’m at. Aimless actually feels appropriate. I’ve been discouraged thinking God can’t provide for what He has purposed for me. I don’t know why I’ve been so lacking in faith when I know God promises to be faithful to finish His work in each one of us.

Great points, Mark. Often, you can find your calling when there's nothing left to do except one gift you've likely been neglecting. You can also better navigate others after you've been through a storm yourself and have managed to find the right pathway. Usually comes with dropping excess baggage, getting in better shape, eating right and finding the clearest route even if it's not your desired destination at the moment. We must do these things for our mind and spirit.

Thank you so much for sharing this valuable information and giving much needed insight into what I've been praying about recently. I've reached a point in my life where I'm feeling aimless and stuck and I believe that God answered my prayer through this video. You touched on the point I definitely wasn't aware of, which is the fact that our calling can change over time and that was a light bulb moment for me. I think it's a process and always re-examining ourselves. Big picture it's about glorifying God but on the day to day it's about loving God and loving people in the ways that come into your life. Bloom where you are planted, so to speak :)

I need to make more money because I’m 26 and still live at home in a toxic environment. I’ve taken all of the action I possibly can to make more money, but nothing is working. I have been praying for more ideas and opportunities, but nothing is happening and I can’t think of anything else to do. I don’t understand. I also have a strong desire for marriage, but I can’t even afford to go out to eat myself. So I don’t think I should be looking to date. I just don’t know what’s going on, and my life sucks.

I feel real aimless! I am bored out of my skull. I am used to being busy. I am not sure of my calling right now? I like praying for people. When I was younger, a lot of people came to me for advice. Idk????? I do have way more time now than I previously had!

After reading the entire chapter of Psalm 16, I think the path of light its referring to in verse 11 is the path of eternal life with Christ in heaven, not the path of life in our current world. But I still do agree with the points you made in the video.

Imagine not asking to being created, but being created... , understanding that the purpose is not your purpose, is Gods purpose, no matter what you insist on doing...

yes, it was an example. I never said women don't struggle with that. But the example still stands that a man should help a man with this and a woman a woman as they usually are coming at that issue differently.

Don't know what to do in future career

God will actually make you feel aimless if your living a aimless life as a way of motivating you to find your purpose and calling 2. I feel restless, bored. Like there are too many hours in my day. I'm clueless. Help yall.

This video was very helpful..I'll Go to God/JESUS more for where he wants me in live. And for him to give me wisdom for my path to my call and purpose he wants for me cause, I've been aimlessly trying to find a job I want to love..and not a job for just the money. But a job that helps others. But the thing is .I have Soo many different things I love and like in life . But idk. Part of me is not 100% sure about my thoughts on some jobs I want. Like a job helping kids learn about Jesus and or taking care of them (my wife cant have kids till she is Sezure free) ..so I thought take care of other kids .(I've helped raise my nephews since birth..) I love doing that . And I see the evil that is being taught to kids..and I want to FIGHT back against that.. My other things I like are wanting to travel and learn different walks of Live.., see other parts of the world. Learn ABOUT different religions.(but not change mine) I love video games .and Japan.. I'm very smart In theology and apologetics..I wish I had the money and time to go to college for bible smarts. I enjoy friendly smart bible debate stuff .
