When my son was 6 (he's 9 now, almost 10) I had a group of feminists tell me I should not put much effort into raising or educating my son, instead I should focus that effort into my then 16 yr old daughter, because my son was just a future rapist. My son was 6, barely past preschooler stage, and yet he was already labeled as a future rapist and not worthy enough to put effort into educating or raising him. That is the reality of modern feminism, a twisted perversion of what feminism was supposed to be. I consider my grandmother a true feminist, in the late 40's she was in the United States Women's Marine Corps, which helped pave the way for women in the military. She wasn't a shrilly screaming harpy going on about mansplaining, manspreading and how air conditioning is sexist. She liked being a woman, she loved being a mother and wife. I'm sure I'll be getting comments about I have internalized misogyny and I'm supporting the patriarchy but I don't care. Enough is enough.

Bet they would love that... PS: for all the airheads out there, no i do not promote rape or hurting children, that would be horible, but damn this doublestandard is killing me.

Feminism was always about female supremacy, not about equality. This equality thing was promoted as an excuse when the "all females are lesbian, and only go after men cause being indoctrinated by patriarchy and need to be freed from men and converted back into lesbians" theory failed, since woman didn't want to give up their heterosexuality. This is when the strategy was changed and called "feminism=movement for equality". But that is just a masquerade. Femenism was always about taking over, supressing men, reducing them in numbers down to a level just large enough to provide sperm for creating more females. At least that what it is about when it comes to the fundamental feminism agenda. Not to speak about it openly in public is just for the purpose not to bring up females again resisting the very ideology of feminism once more, like it happened 25 years ago when it was rejected by most females. Feminism is all about females and created by lesbians who are by sexual affinity exclusivly into female aspects in life. --- So, it is not just these days...we only got so far these days, and what we see is not the final goal of feminism...since that final goal goes far beyond what most people do even imagine these days. Read Valerie Solanas "SCUM Manifesto"...it is not just a science fiction book; at least not for the real feminists! It is more like Hitlers "Mein Kampf" for the fundamental feminists.

@@asagk You are aware that women were denied the right to vote, not all that long ago right? 3rd wave feminism is nonsense I agree, but lumping that in with earlier waves is wrong factually from your comment, and ignorant at best. There was a cause/reason for earlier wave feminism, it simply doesn't have a reason now, so feminists switched from equality (a worthy fight and good one) to female superiority. Just pointing that out, not trying to attack. Same for Kyle.

  • @asagk

    @asagk

    5 жыл бұрын

@@kempkennedy3542 Let me guess, you did not read 2nd wave feministic literature like "SCUM Manifesto". Stuff like that is actually it is the very fundamental ideological basis for 2nd wave feminism. In it's core it is deeply fascistiod. You could exchange the "men" in this story for any else defined group, like "jews", and you clearly see what this is about. Radical fascism at it's finest. And in fact for the fundamental feminists this ideology is still considered the very basis of feminism. They did not "switch" to female superiority, this is where they come from. And most females who claim to be feminists these days have no clue what feminism in tis core is actually about. It is not about the funny little comics about "feminist history" that are presented to girls in kindergarden and basic school, to get females into accepting their victimization and to make them believe being a feminist is a good thing because they had been oppressed by so long and so badly. Besides the right to vote, that came along with the duty to serve the state, of which the latter the suffragettes refused to accept, since they only wanted rights, not the duties that came along with them, besides that, all of feminism was and is a bad joke. There was a pay gap, but that was and is mostly due to little expertise and lack of school education. When someone does a job that everyone, simply everyone can do, then the payment is shitty. Still true today for as much for men as it is for women. Against greed and unfair payment, men organized in Unions. Females did not start their own Unions, while they certainly could have done so. In fact when it comes to create something, invent or fight for something, women generally become extremly silent and ask others to make things to become possible. This has also been true for the fundamental feminists. They have hardly ever been seen in the roads, instead they try to convince the wifes of politicians and influencers, to make their husbands do something for them. When it comes to doing something on their own, they typically fail to get into action. The only thing they managed and still manage to do is complaining and getting others into action to block events they believe are not good in terms of the core fundamental fascistic values of feminism. But even then the ideologists themselfs do not pop up at event sites, since such practical actions is the kind of stuff ment to be for the canon fodder females, just in case things get violent. At the same time this defines feminism so well, a tiny minority with an ideology supported by a number of influencers and politicians that wants to tell all women in the world how their life should be like, which is also the very reason they failed to sell their ideology to females in 1st and 2nd wave at a broader level, since most females did not want anyone to tell them what a makes up a good female and what not. And this is one of the reasons we see a 3rd wave feminism now. 3rd wave feminism is in fact 2nd wave feminism, but since the core values did not sell well in 2nd wave, the way 3rd wave is sold in public is about non existing things, made up to have something to continue with the ideological program. But that does not mean at all that 2nd wave is done ... it just wears a different mask in public. The core is still about reducing total numbers of male in the long run. Topics like "removal of toxic masculinity" is for them just one of many milestones on the way to their final fascistic goal, where 90% of humanity is made up by superior females, and the worthless males are serving as sperm banks. 3rd wave fundamental feminist ideologists still refer this, but most the time not in a broader public. And to continnue with all this, there needs to be as much bashing and complaining in a broader public as possible, so everyone fears to stand up and be bullied and shamed for standing up. This is the very way feminism works and is about, it is about bullying and intimidation to avoid any sort of resistance against the fascist ideology as its very core value. By the way, females who refuse feminism in public, get intimidated and bullied, receive death threats just the same way males do... ask e.g. "Karen Straughan". She can tell you what it is like to stand up! So you are are right, there was a reason for earlier waves of feminism, and there still is, while it is not sold as such in public, but instead they moved to a permanent complaining and bashing about any aspect of a males life, since in the long run the very goal has been and still is the very same it had been all the time. And that goal is not about some imaginary pay gap or voting rights!

@@kempkennedy3542 actually, women didn't want the right to vote because it came with the draft and they didn't want their husbands jobs because men died frequently at them. And men gave women their right to vote. If we truly lived in a patriarchal society that wouldn't have happened. We lived in a society where women were stuck in the nurturing, raising children, and cleaning gender roles and men were stuck in the role of financial provider, protector who was supposed to protect women and children from harm. While feminism helped women break out of their role, it didn't do anything but reinenforce men's gender roles and gave women privileges and more rights over men.

Glad to see a Women in here with reason. I'm a Man and I'm getting more and more confused on what to do when engaging women in fear of it being turned around on me as something negative. like flirting, or if you think there are signs of maybe more, taking the first steps to kiss a girl. this is scary, since you hear stories of people getting ruined because they took the first steps. also all the stories of men being nice to women like opening the door like a gentleman and then get told I can do it my self I don't need a man. So it's so confusing. last girl I was interested in, I did not dare while watching a movie with her, to move closer to her and take the first steps, since I wanted to respect her boundaries', but how then do you show you like her. tell her it? but if you do that, then the romance is kind of out the window. If men where nervous before when engaging a women it's a lot worse today.

@@Favorline Hey Mark. I get how you might be nervous about approaching women romantically, and I think it's great that you make an effort to respect boundaries. As a woman, I think the best thing you can do to take a step in a relationship is ask for consent first, It's as simple as asking, "Do you want to hold hands?" or "Can I kiss you?" Asking for consent is not only important in creating an atmosphere of safety, but it is really attractive to many women because it shows that you respect them and their boundaries. I hope this helps. :)

Sure you can have some fun for about 1 -12 month. but that's about it. then the relationship just crumbles. since we did not match from the beginning. Also I have become older. so more wise. and want a serious relationship. not that I did not want that before. but most of the Women I have been with, have been a little bit to wild. not drugs. but to many parties. from their side. I never really wanted to go to parties. each weekend. for me it was more like ones every 2-3 months. So they had to go alone for most of them. giving them plenty of opportunity to fuck around behind my back, and two of the women I was with did so. So from now on. Because my recovery from leaving my abusive ex wasn't "ideal" and my depression didn't make sense to their armchair college psychology 101 education. It was just horrible. Oh, and how im a "bad woman" cuz I won't go and physically protest while I am physically disabled and the Texas summer heat can actually kill me. I personally have an issue with feminism because they NEVER address extremely important issues like child marriage in the US or the prevalence of pelvic exams done on unconscious women during unrelated surgeries without consent by med schools/teaching hospitals. These are ACTUAL issues in the US and almost no one that calls themselves a feminist has addressed this more than tangentially. Idk I would prefer to just not label my ideals and actually make actions towards helping girls and women rather than sit and complain about male privilege.

Stan Marsh that opinion is just all wrong, I don’t agree with this feminism bullshit, it’s a label to describe a movement for bitter women. And in relationships, a man wants a woman to be submissive and a woman wants a man to take control. It’s nature. But what you said is complete shit. In WW2 many women would have gladly fought. Of course not as many as men because of natural testosterone and instinct, but many women would have fought. Yeah I’m only 17, but age is just a number and I do school ccf and see many women excel in army positions, but they are just as dedicated and I’d say many concentrate more then boys who fool around. Also women weren’t allowed to fight and so were encouraged by senior men also, to call men who didn’t fight cowards. Also that was more WW1 so get your facts straight. Women are important to society and I know many great women with work ethic and caring. Not going to say I’m not going to see them as eye candy and I think it’s stupid if girls, particularly ones showing cleavage or tight clothes around their body, get offended for that. You’re attractive, i can’t help if I’m attracted to you. But I would say 95% of your comment is hypocrisy of what you’re saying about women

I am a 25 year old man.I was told by mom today that I was a sexist because she was losing an argument, going as far to say that the existence of the tyrannical male patriarchy was a foregone fact. As an honours student of the humanities with a dual major in anthro/history, and an ardent believer in equal rights between all human beings regardless of "race," gender or age this shook me to the core. I came here basically seeking assurance that there were sane women left who don't rely on these radical ideologies, victimization and buzzwords. This rationality was a much needed reprieve from this hateful third-wave feminism. What happened to second-wave feminism's triumphs? I love my mom but she refuses to think for herself when it comes to collectivist leftist ideological camps. She refuses to use critical evaluation and every man who disagrees with her is a misogynist. I am pretty much centre-left politically, at least I identify that way, but when the left moves farther and farther away it seems the centre has moved with it and thus I end up somewhere on the right according to all these feminists! My own mother treats me as a brute and an misogynist, retreating into the us vs. them characterizations, yet she is the one who shows misandry, narrow-mindedness and an inability to listen to others. She doesn't even know Malala Yousafzai is, someone who I look up to, and the person I consider to be one of the greatest social activists of our time. I would call her a feminist, but more and more these days that word is gaining a negative connotation. She is an equalist, if anything. I am an equalist too. Always remember... logic, respect, dialogue, freedom of speech and transparency. They are needed more than ever with this collectivist, tribalistic world we find ourselves in.

Where I live (Netherlands) nobody gets automatically mutilated, and I personally think all is barbaric (although the male variant still let's you have some kind of "fun", while the female full variant is literally destroying your private parts in a way it has to be "opened up" before the first time 😳, with the risk of being incontinent after that...!) Besides that, I think the current world is brutally hard for men who also just happened to be born that way. We're all just who we are, and the preferring females is hugely getting out of hand! (Speaking as a woman, who is really sick of these so called "strong wamen" who suck and should really tidy their hair when in political positions! They got that respect from us, for the most part. Their dad demanded respect to me and for me. We as moms, especially, teach our boys how to treat women. If we don’t require or demand it from them, how will they learn. My husband told them when they were you g and sassy “you’re mother is the queen of this household and you will treat her as such.” We have to teach this and model this in our homes for our sons AND our daughters to learn how to be respectful to each other.

The "boys will be boys" line is often used to justify boys/men sexually harassing girls/women because "boys will be boys" aka boys won't be able to control their "natural instinct/temptations". I think that's where the offense and the problem come from. So I kinda understand their point on that. The sentence in and of itself is innocent, yes. But the way it's often used has basically made it a negative statement. However, I do agree with your statement that a lot of people who label themselves as feminists are quite hypocritical. Hence why I've been more inclined to say that I'm an egalitarian rather than a feminist. Modern feminism is slowly becoming too radical for my liking. I once had a disagreement with a feminist friend of mine on how the statement "men are trash" is more harmful if we're really pushing for equality. And she basically told me that it's more problematic that people aren't trying to understand the real meaning and history behind the statement and instead are just taking it at face value.

I feel the same! Rather than considering myself a feminist, I’m just a person with morals, ethics and virtue. I don’t see why I have to classify myself as anything else when I can just be a good and fair person who lives up to what they say. Egalitarian? For sure. But I can’t lump myself in with feminists, because they have such a bad rep today; instead of actually offering a hand to disadvantaged girls and boys in places where poverty, culture and other systematic barriers trap them, they argue about things like how a man sits in America or Canada and how they’re very oppressed. I’m not saying misogyny doesn’t exist; you have a shit ton of men globally who do think women are inferior to men, just because we’re women. But there are much bigger problems we need to deal with instead of these micro-aggressions . And a true feminist wouldn’t be concerned with only helping girls in these disabling situations, but girls and boys - because isn’t equality what they’re aiming for? Let’s help all children. Yeah, just my 2 cents. There’s a lot more I need to learn about this though, and what modern feminism is like today, to have a properly informed opinion.

Its kind of a bad thing to be 'a feminist' thanks to these twats twisting it. Best to consider yourself a humanist.. I mean, they (the man hating feminazi's) get hung up on details like chair person, or people hole, so perhaps you should seperate your status from any particular gender bias. Or even an equalitarian or something makes more sense after all the absurd shit 'feminists' be spouting of late. Not attacking you, just lookin out. Feminist is becoming a bad word thanks to these tainted kool aid drinking ass clowns. I know, humanist, or equalitarian is kinda playing their chairman/person game, but it also creates valued distance from their twisted views, and that's nothing but a good thing to do.

Actually, in spanish (latin languages) machism is the opposite to feminism, and it is a bad thing. People are trying to get rid of machism. So technically (by my understanding of the word from a latin language speaking background), feminism isn't any better, and in fact we should try to get rid of it to achieve equality.

  • @rohinim1334

@@maggiekennedy5961 Maybe so, but in your context the definition of feminism is different to mine. I don't believe in women supremacy the same way I don't believe in male domination. I somewhat agree with you but many men and women would interpret the meaning as equality, not knowing the latin derivative. In the end, our goal is equality so I wouldn't condemn feminism altogether because of the beliefs of some ignorant females who use feminism as an excuse for misandry.

INDroid that's not true at all. The whole feminism thing is a lot like the racism thing. Women WERE treated with disrespect, but now women have as many rights as men. They can run for president for gods sake, and that's a good thing, nothing wrong with a woman running for president, but once a woman is able to run for president, the quest for more rights seems arbitrary, because they have as many rights as men, now they want more rights, and they want boys to stop acting like boys. I'm just saying that feminism should have faded away the moment they achieved their goal, or at least it should have died down, because now it feels like feminists just want revenge for all the past mistakes that men have made, and it just reminds me that women can really be vindictive.

Darrek Workman That is the most profound comment I have seen here. Your analysis of the situation is flawless. If may add, feminism today is under the umbrella of the left in society. You can see the similarities between Feminazis and the Fascists that call themselves antifa. Neither will now allow even a semblance of debate as they know how that ends. They both have a "no platform" policy where all dissent is shut down out of fear that if a conservative gets the chance to tell the truth they will sweep away all before them in a tidal wave of reality. But remember that there is a strict grevance hierarchy. Leftards will support women, but not oppose sharia, for example. Leftards will support trashing marriage to make gays happy at the expense of Christians, but not Muslims.
