I just found out I have hypo. I used to feel low, tired and sluggish even though I was mentally fine. I used to think I am useless, because I feel lethargic all thr time. Now I know, it's thyroid fatigue. But still it sucks to live like this😢

You described every problem I've had for the past ten years. I'm at the point now where I crash out with fatigue and brain fog every day around 1pm. I couldn't figure out what was wrong because I'm taking Levothyroxine, so I figured I shouldn't be feeling this way. I never knew about adding T3 hormone so I'm going to ask my doctor about it after the results from the latest blood tests come in. It's so hard to function but I have hope after I found your video.

Vitamin A is needed for proper mitochondrial function. Also Vitamin A is needed to activate thyroid hormone receptor's. Take care not to take too much because it is toxic to the liver in large amounts. Taking (pre vitamin a) beta carotene is safe as the body will not convert more than it needs.

Rhodiola does nothing for me - tried different brands and nothing. According to a naturopath on YouTuve, people with Hashimoto's aren't supposed to take ashwaganda because it raises thyroid levels so when you're taking thyroid meds it could raise the levels too much (that's the theory the naturopath says).

I have read that Acetyl-L-Carnitine is contraindicated for Hashimoto's / hypothyroid. I've read that it inhibits T3 & T4 from entering cells. Numerous sites claim this. Is it true? Because It is a complete bummer when I read that because I've taken it in the past and it def helps my energy. On road trips it keeps me alert and awake, so I used to always carry some in my purse.

@@AnshulGuptaMD I'm very glad to hear this, because truly this supplement def boosts energy. I use one I found in walgreens long ago, by Nature's Bounty. It has a little picture on the front that says it promotes cognition and memory. It sure does. I never took it on a regular basis, just on occasion when I felt I needed it. Def works.
