4 PARKS IN OCALA FLORIDA YOU SHOULD VISIT

I enjoy the outdoors, whether that is hiking, biking, or getting On the Water with my boat or kayaks. Since Hurricane Ian the water levels have been high so getting on the water has been a little difficult as most boat ramps are closed. Tropical Storm Nicole delayed boating even more. In this video I take some time off the water and visit a couple Ocala Parks that I had not been to since moving here. Each park is in a different quadrant of Ocala (SE, NE, NW, SW)
Ocala Nature Park -1600 SE 30th Ave, Ocala, FL 34471
On the SE side this is the smallest of the 4 parks I visited. A small stocked pond for fishing and playground for kids (think 80's playground equipment).
Tuscawilla Art Park - 213 NE 5th St, Ocala, FL 34470
Next on the NE side, this part has several sculptures located along the walking path that follows around the large pond. If you are looking for a nice walk, under 1 mile Tuscawilla is an excellent park. Tennis courts and a very nice playground are also on property.
Ocala Wetland Recharge Park - 2105 NW 21st St, Ocala, FL 34475
Not far from the downtown area is the Wetland park. Several walking paths weave through this park for a look at nature. Alligators, turtles, birds and more are all located at this park. No pets, biking allowed. This park is about the peaceful sounds of nature.
Sholom Park - 7110 SW 80th Ave, Ocala, FL 34481
Perfectly manicured landscapes, Koi pond and shaded walking paths. If you enjoy a quite place to walk and discover beautiful plants and flowers, check out this park.
