Also at Ft Wilderness you don’t have to have your own RV you can rent theirs. It’s the same price as a hotel room and so very much better in the 70s and 80s that’s where I took our son on vacation each year.

Sorry but you missed the best campground, RV park I have ever been to and that includes years of camping across this country and Europe. It has everything and more. it is the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground. It is 1000 heavily wooded acres along the Suwannee River in Live Oak Florida. Free live music every weekend and huge music events throughout the year to include nationally known artists and bands. Horse, pool 20+ miles of trails, canoeing, restaurant, carfe’, golf cart rentals for trail riding, etc. It is clean and beautiful. I hate to advertise it because I con’t want it to become overcrowded. It is already hard to get one’s favorite spot. Especially during the festivals.

We have heard great things about Spirit of Suwanne Music Park, but we have never personally stayed there so we can't speak from our own experience. Ah yes, we've heard GREAT things about Blue Water RV Resort too. But we were not able to find availability to stay there, so it didn't make our list because we only ranked places we've actually stayed. Hopefully we can stay at Blue Water in the future! Happy travels to you!

totally correct, and totally worth every dime

Florida is tourist area, it's not cheap, especially in Key West
