For some of us, the tutorial goes off the rails at the 2:38 mark because there is no selection after adding the Vegas effect. I tried tweaking the threshold but no selection is applied.

I don't know any. I generate it with any logo generator, take a screenshot, and then i make it myself using Illustrator

Adobe After Effects Sorcerer.

Tutorial wise I don't think it was that helpful... You go through so much so quick that someone new to AE wouldn't know what they are doing, what effects you are putting on, how the track matt works.. But the animations are good and give some sort of idea as to what you are doing in the previous steps.

I don't know if you'll be able to do a tutorial on it.. but I am after a looping background tutorial with shapes? such as rounded oblongs that float across the screen and then restarts on a loop?! :)
