    We really over here trying to get justice for bitches who’ve been dead forever? We get it. You’re super nice people. The way they were Treated was so mean! They were lovely girls! As were all witches ever.... because witches aren’t really real and these are the most well known ones or something. Which seems obvious but I guess not

    But they're confession would lead them to death.. Like the Christians in the middle east getting lined up and asked to leave jesus, if they say no they get shot. Why would these people confess to something they know was untrue and would get them immediately killed? You dont need it to actually happen if that was the case, the story wouldnt need it to be that way. I dont know, I'm confused .

I am a pagan witch but I dont nor want to go into detail with the likes of someone so closed minded. Sunny Flower you are correct big doubts on most of these being witches as there isnt much evidence other than theory not fact.

    Mother Shipton was TOO advance for these times. Her mind and her intuition were her gifts and her gifts were feared from people who did not understand. Also the lack of knowledge. When I hear these stories and the way people used pain as a reinforcement for torture, it makes me wonder how many innocent people had to say what they wanted in order to be set free from malicious pain. They conditioned pain and fear so the person can confess even if it wasnt true. 🙈 you cant deny the church was too barbaric on decisions. Like.... bro loool

    yes and no, it depends on what definition you use, one definition of witch is (normally female) who practices dark magics and witch craft AKA unholy tampering of reality. your definition is close but another definition for witch is a prophesizer or knowledge possessor that sees the world through their third eye (the third eye theory is a spiritual theory) thus why they seem wiser and more capable of understanding future and reality. obviously the first definition is simply a superstition so I believe they were simply free thinkers who were shunned and looked down upon for their hunger for knowledge.

    I believe Mother Shipton was beautiful inside and one of the greatest prophets which men would not have taken a shine to back then. Even back then, the judged her by appearance and the fact one of those men were probably her Father. One man had the heart to see her beauty. I am still trying to find the recipes of awesome foods that are said to be hers and came out in a weekly News Paper. In the early to mid 1980's. I wish I would have kept all I cut out of the paper as each recipe had a good telling of Mother Shipton. Interesting video. Thank you. There was another from Ireland named Lurina, or something like that. Not enough information on her that I could ever find. They just had a blurp on her on TV. Not sure if it was something in the news or a short documentary. Was too young at those times to think about those things back then. I wish I had though. It is just that my now late Dad always tried to stay on news stations which I found too depressing to hear the same thing repeated on every news station. I have much interest now through. Good video. Thank you again. 🌷🌿🕊🌷🇨🇦

    It seems pretty obvious that Agatha was either too frightened of her "baby-daddy" to name him or didn't think anyone would believe her. Nother supernatural about that. 1:40 - Ursula's life sounds like it was miserable rigth from the first. I wonder if modern medicine could have done anything to help with her physical problems? Sad how people automatically treated people who looked different with such suspicion and cruelty. (Not that this is anything new.) 4:08 - Is it just me, or is there the faint figure of a sea monster in the background in this picture? Mother Ludlum's story is quite interesting. I like the fact that they considered her a good witch. (as long as she wasn't provoked.)

  • @nicolamommacita9420

    @nicolamommacita9420

    I have watched several different shows about Bobbi Mackie's and not once ever heard of a witch being there. Heard of the head of a murderer woman being thrown in the well by her murderers, heard of her murderers haunting the place and heard of the original owner of the building who's daughter haunts the place but never a witch. So if there's something more out there that I'm unaware of I would surely love to know. Especially if it has to do with a witch.

    It actually means "secret" or hidden, referring to knowledge or wisdom hidden and needing to be sought. Why is it deemed bad? People fear what they do not understand. What they fear, they seek to destroy.

    For the same reason that the "tree of knowledge" was considered a bad thing in the bible. Religion wants humans to stay ignorant and superstitious so that they are easily controlled.

    Basically what I heard is, the church made accusations against innocent woman, had them tortured and killed and stole a cauldron. Then called those in which they accused evil. Sounds about right. I have to laugh to myself when I think about how my Christian Sister has what the church would call a Devils mark in the private area... She would have been murdered by her own kind.
