Leaf looks more and more like our Cha Cha! Pretty sure they’re related! His eyes look like hers so much and they’re both black and white.😊🥰

I see several black and white here in SO CA very pretty.

Mia, the peeing is called "submissive peeing" and some puppies do it. The vast majority outgrow it. I should also mention that sighthounds do sleep more than other dogs, and that is normal. I wanted to mention - I had greyhounds for years (3 at one time!) but now I'm too old to handle such huge dogs so I will be getting a whippet when my current dogs pass. I assume you know that a whippet or a greyhound will need a coat in the winter? I find my greyhounds always slept better with some "jammies" at night too. If you go online somewhere like Etsy you can find all kinds of things for whippets. Another thing you will want is a martingale collar - this is important because it is difficult for a sighthound to slip that collar (note their necks are bigger than their heads, so they can easily slip a regular collar!). Again, check whippet/greyhound supplies on Etsy for that. They make martingales that are just gorgeous - all kind of Renaissance patterns. The 1 and a half - inch wide ones would look great on Leaf. I have a collection of about 25 collars for my boys. LOL

@greenshp Wow, you’ve had lots of greyhounds then. That’s amazing! They are so gorgeous, but very big! That’s exactly the reason we went with a whippet instead of a greyhound. Since we are living in southern Spain at the moment , where the temperature is hot/ warm year round we are not too concerned with getting any coats for leaf just yet. Quite the opposite, as we are more worried about keeping him cool these days. It’s been around 35 °C / 95 °F lately and we wanna make sure he doesn’t suffer in the heat. Once winter comes around we have a coat in mind, but we will wait for him to grow more, as clothes can be very costly too. We’ve also heard lots about martingale collars, but have decided to walk him in a 3 clip harness instead. He’s very secure in it and can’t slip out, and we don’t want to hurt his neck with any sort of collar. It’s been working well for us so far 😃 we’ll see what the future brings and if we ever feel the need for a collar, but for now we’re quite happy with his harness. I hope you have some more wonderful years with your current dogs, and that you’ll find a lovely whippet companion once they pass ✨

@@miajulio1702 i think though a whippet may have more energy than a greyhound even though I've had 3 whippets from what I've seen with the greyhound breed. But not to say whippets aren't easy dogs they are my favorite breed I have a beautiful 2 year old right now she goes everywhere with me that's the easier part they're smaller and travel real well.

There usually are plenty of apartments for rent around here- just less during the peak tourist season coming up next week and all throughout summer. It’ll depend on your budget and where in rota you’d like to live. I don’t know any landlords personally, but there are always “for rent” signs on lots of buildings.
