Yea alot of people try to compare 2011 rose to 2017 Westbrook but thats not fair cause rose was only 23 when he went down hardly his prime most 23 year olds haven't made a all-star yet all nba not to mention winning mvp imagine rose in prime at 27 rose was a different anima froml Westbrook n even Steph n other pgs drafted in that era 2008-2012 rose was smarter n he's a winner n he's proving it in new york now.i don't think dame, kyrie or any of those pgs would be on rose level in prime rose was on Luka level at a very young age but people forget that Luka on pace to win mvp at the same age which i don't see how he could possibly win it over dudes on giannis n embiid this season but nba is rigged like that n already be having winners picked out .

After coming out of the locker room to play for your team when you KNOW you shouldn’t and going down with a second injury. It was sad to see people cheer about that.

I still shake my head as to why Rose wasn't subbed out, he may not have felt it, but his knees definitely needed a rest that time, and he should've just been resting on the bench instead of padding a lead idk what the reason was for him playing in garbage time But I guess it still ends well, he is back and more enlightened on how to play the game without having to rely on his explosiveness, which is mad respect

At the time I thought the same but given what we know years later I think it was bound to happen. The amount of usage he saw, the Bulls terrible training staff and his play style just accelerated it. I think the Bulls staff also got off easy. They tanked Luol Dengs career too. He never got back to his allstar level after that lumbar puncture incident.

He lost everything, and even right now he is a shadow of his former self. Now he is trying to find the greatness that he could have grabbed over a decade ago. nabil chowdhury everyone deals with injuries, the Cavs got the worst of it in 2015, but the Warriors dealt with multiple injuries/suspensions in 2016, so the way I see it, they won each other’s championships. Kawhi’s injury wouldn’t have mattered imo, and the Rockets proved this year that beating GS just isn’t something they seem to want to do all that much. This year was horrible though, we watched 2 of the leagues best players go down with injury in the same series 1 game apart. Klays going to miss most of next season, and if KD’s injury is as bad as Achilles injuries usually are, that one was league shaking

Injuries are absolutely devastating when it prevents you from doing something you love. I pulled my left hip flexor during an early-season 4x100 event and was out for the season in freshman year. Sophomore year I pulled my OTHER hip flexor before the season even started. Junior year I pulled both mid-season and was out. Senior year I pulled my groin in the summer and then I decided I was done. I never got through a whole season healthy because we had a shortage of people, and we didn’t have the proper care we should’ve been getting. It sucks watching other people take over for your event, knowing you could’ve done so much better than them.

That is true but context is still important. Although a championship is a championship no matter what and should be respected as such, it is still more impressive to beat a fully healthy team than one that is injured, and it should have an effect on the way that people view those championships.

There is no doubt a healthy Golden State beats Toronto, but we are talking about quite possibly the greatest team of all time. I'm not going to hold that against the Raptors. Toronto played with heart, determination, and class. I would have held them in high regard even if they lost. They got a lucky for sure, but they are a worthy champion.

perezfinichames well no shit a healthy warriors team would win. They ruined the NBA. 5 yes 5 all stars in their starting lineup. One being the first unanimous MVP, the second being an MVP/ one of the greatest scorers of all time, the third being one of the best shooters of all time, the fourth being one of the leagues best defenders and role players, and the fifth being a dominant big man. Don’t feel bad for the warriors, they finally went through what every team for everyone of their championship runs went through. And oh how sad that they only played with 4 all stars right? And only 3 for ONE quarter.

The last time a team made it to the finals or are in the finals without any injuries involved or suspension was in 2014 Spurs vs Heat. Good thing the Spurs ended the Heat dynasty when the heat was fully Healthy. That right there is a real championship team. Not the Warriors who won against the cavs in 2015 or cavs winnibg against warriors when draymond was suspended in 2016 or the warriors when Kawhi got injury and could've gotten destroyed by the Spurs or wheb CP3 got injured and was 1 game away from the finals aaaand.... The KD and Klay injury against the Raptors.
