Rapier is actually more cost effective damage than quelling, so no it's not the "most cost effective damage against creeps"

bro, i'm CIS dota player, so i always watched guides from CIS content makers, but no one didn't give so important info and no one didn't explain info as cool as you. all their info always super obviously even for 2k-4k mmr players, but most things which you said would be nice to now to 5k-7k players. so big thanks for your job. big difference between 6k-7k and nearly 9k mmr content makers.

I mean how much damage does blightstone add with treants or ench creep level 1? It is probably less but not half as cost effective, NP has like 90 combined damage level 1 and blightstone adds ~10-12% depending on if its the ranged or melee, close to 100 if you buy a qb and stats meaning it breaks the over half as effective at level 1 and it gets way better at 3.

not sure if u are saying blightstone is better than qb on np particularly for laning, but you are spending 130 mana too if u want to make the most value out of blightstone. the first couple waves usually decides who is in control of the lane, so why spend 300g for just -ve armor effect when u could have more regen or stats to win the lane? edit: grammar pls not now

@@bigwig8657 okay i guess? i will give it a pass if you have some support tusk or smtg that makes blightstone a better purchase, but mostly as a farming core at least, just go full monke and beating creeps rarely goes wrong

@@-grumpygold1155 I mean the consensus starting build of pros is blight tangoes 4 branches and make do with 59 avg damage plus treants, blightstone significantly helps starting at 3, and you bully infinitely better with blightstone both vs melee with how damage block works and ranged, and giving up 3 branches for qb and the 60 hp, 3 damage, 3 attack speed and 36 mana isn't worth it. Basically every np game at major and Esl was that except kuku went a salve blight and branches 1 game. Even if you were straight jungling you would still go blight, though you would skip tangoes get qb and branches because by level 3 blight is adding like 14 damage and its to everything. And the damage is only important if you would be missing cs and the stats wouldn't help you win lane, why dooms start bracer, super high base damage you devour ranged creep and you really need some passive regen. Similarly I would not expect to see zeus, or storm or a lot of caster mods etc start qb because they have spells for contested cs and stats and getting to bottle is more important, you need to get 3 extra cs for it to be worth and thats unlikely before bottle.

@@bigwig8657 yeah but isnt it just efficient to start qb on NP and ship in the blightstone later since you'd probably want it anyway for the extra tower push value? it also gives you more room to change your builds like buying midas maybe if the game looks good and stuff with just 130g investment early on. the stats u lose out from like 4 branches is easily offset by having an extra set of tangoes, clarity, qb; that leaves u with 140g that u can either want the blightstone or just go for gloves or still get 2 branches if u still want them. mids u mentioned usually need to balance their mana since they have instant nukes so thats kinda different, u wouldnt see an SF wanting qb over 2 mangoes for example. obviously a blanket statement in dota is kinda useless because things change all the time so im not saying qb is always the way

That Medusa missing last hits on high ground gave me pain

sometimes I catch flak from teammates when I put wards in weird spots that don't give optimal vision. The thing is, if you just place all your wards on the ward spot, the enemy is going to deward them sooner. So I will place my obs in different areas that give enough vision to see enemies walking through them or farming a specific camp, but in an area that is unconventional so the enemy won't automatically know where it is if they start placing sentries.

For a ranged mid 3 fairy fires costs more $240, but has more utility unless there is a Natures Profit. Usually you can avoid getting tango's making up the difference between the quelling and tangos $230. As you need more space for items just consume a fairy fire.

You can draw aggro in the midlane by standing right next to your ranged creep and then attacking the enemy if they don't have vision.

i like the quelling blade also a lot vs a monkey, you can alwas cut a tree when you see him jumping. because MK will be stunned for 4 secs when you cut the right tree

you didnt mention about magic stick. As a support, I always hide from lanes then use my skill. if enemy receive charges, then they surely have vision of me
