I like the part where The Queen is in the chair and the dog is on the floor and Prince Philip comes in to join them, the way dog tilts its head back and gives him the “I love you” eyes and Philip reaches down and embraces the dog in such a loving way. It is great to see Philip in such a tender moment. 🕊

Those dogs couldn't care less that she is the queen. They liked her and loved because she was their human.And that is the pure love. No interest. And she knew it

The dogs were so well behaved when visitors walked into the room. My dog goes balistic when I have visitors!!

She had the power to do whatever she wanted. Including letting her precious corgis run all over the place lol

But she knew what she was doing none of the dogs misbehaved even in all the turmoil that were all those big meetings. They walk around carelessly but I don't see that they are aggressive or loud in any way.

She was said to have an impish sense of humor and I’m sure having those Corgis greet dignitaries made her lol inside 😄

I think the dogs made people more comfortable when they met her. They were a talking point and as a lot of people from all walks of life love their pets, it made her more relatable. I would have enjoyed seeing the corgis if I’d been invited to the palace. The new King and Queen have two Jack Russell terriers. They rehomed them from Battersea Dogs Home.

I think what I love about her love of dogs.. she was like normal people. “Ummm this Palace is my dogs home- you are just a visitor. Don’t like my dogs in the room or on my couch when I allow them? You can leave at any time.”

It looks like her husband Philip was as fond of the corgis and dorgis as she was. The corgi is a lovely breed. I have one.

That’s why I could never be a dignitary lmao. Between the corgis and the president of Ireland’s big adorable floofs I would only be able to focus on belly rubs and doing all sorts of stupid voices at them.

Corgis have been in the palace for more than 70years. I’m sure their presence will be missed as well 😢

One word "Grand" will miss this extraordinary Lady such an amazing Queen we were so Lucky to have been gifted her for so Long.

That one corgi that just waited for her to finish getting her photos taken... my heart!

I like the videos of the Queen at Heathrow waiting to board a plane and the staff are coping with about 8 corgis, some won’t go up the steps and have to be carried. The Queen is chatting away to someone and is not concerned about them at all. It’s really funny.😂

Oh it's hilarious to see them all when they have board the plane or when they leave it and the staff and Queen Elizabeth corrals them into the cars!!! Absolutely love it!! 😅😅🥰🥰🥰

My favourite part of that video is the very start. When the back door of the Jaguar opens, & aaalllllll these little corgis come out 🥰

Those little dogs just waddled about and got in the way.

She is kind and animal lover. RIP queen.

Imagine carrying a purse from room to room in your own house. 🙂 She was very much a beautiful woman her whole life and the Corgis (and Dorgi) are adorable.

Her purse was a signaling device to her servants and aides when she had guests. When she changed the purse's position: onto her lap, or on the floor to her left or right, or on the table, it meant things like "I need a reason to leave this conversation soon" or "The dinner will end in five minutes."

I love when the Queen, (the 13 second mark of the video) sitting at her desk and opening a fancy fan, the gives the dog a quick boop on the nose of her corgi, then the dog walks out of the room like ok that's all wanted from mummy..now i can go back to patrolling the palace 😅 ❤

They are a highly intelligent breed. They are easy to train and take commands. Even though they were bred for herding small animals like sheep and goats they can be trained for agility. A few years back one won best of breed at the Westminister Kennel Club dog show.

A sight we will surely miss. ☺️

Delightful! It was lovely to see Prince Philip had a bond with our Queen's corgis. The Corgis must miss them both. I'm sure they're well looked after but animals that have a close bond with their owners do pine for them when they're not around. Sad really. 🥺
