Hagane was not formed by Sayaka, but Sakura in 2018, along with original vocalist Chiemi, Kanako, and Mayto, not Maito. Hagane began life as a quartet with just two guitars, drums, and vocals. Sayaka wasn't even a member during the first year of Hagane's existence, only joining the band sometime after Chiemi's departure. The first releases from the band came in the form of two demo cd's, the first featuring Chiemi, the second featuring Uyu on vocals. Subsequent releases from the band were Episode0 (2020, Mini-Album), Labradorite (2020), Supervillan (2021), and Code 9021 (2022, Full length). Latest incarnation of Hagane consists of the aforementioned Sakura, Sayaka, Junna, formerly of Girl's Rock Band Kakumei (now Trident) on drums, and Nagi, not Nagy, on vocals, with the first release being the Life Goes On EP, now available to stream. Kanako briefly played with the band Yeti Valhalla, though of late, she has been seen manning the drum stool for PaleNeo, among others. Uyu and Mayto have since resurfaced in the band Mana Diagram, with their first EP, Light of the Destiny, due out soon.✌️❤️🤘

Couple corrections: Guitarist Sakura first found drummer Kanako, then guitarist Mayto, then vocalist Chiemi, and then a support bassist. This was the unit at the formally announced start of the band on June 23, 2018, and the unit that played Hagane's first live show in September 2018. In December 2018 the support bassist was replaced by Sayaka. In November 2019 vocalist Chiemi was replaced by Uyu, and the band played their first live show with that lineup the same November.

@otobokegaijin6218 Cheers for the additional information. If it seemed as though my version of events were a little too long and that a few significant dates were missing. I was merely pointing out to Venus Gaijin that some of the facts in his video were a little off base and not to make it appear as though I were the sole authority on all things Hagane.✌️

For those who don't know: Necronomidol were a fantastic Idol group, with very dark themes. They were influenced by black metal and HP Lovecraft to name but 2 influences. They were very special and I miss them. I would recommend that anyone interested check out their video 'Dawnslayer', and then to get your mind truly blown, watch their video for 'Santa Sangre', which goes to places that no other idol group would go.

@davidtollefson8411. Saki's departure from Nemophila has certainly freed up more space within the band, allowing Hazuki and Haraguchi-san further room to blossom without it in any way detracting from the core of the songs. After seeing that first Instagram video of the band post Saki, I would love to see Mayu level up even further on guitar going forward.✌️❤️

Sakura and Sayaka knocked it out of the park when it came to finding worthy replacements for Kanako and Uyu in the form of Nagi and Junna. While Episode0 remains my favourite release from the band, Life Goes On is fast becoming my second favourite. Also highly recommend Mana Diagram's first two releases Glitter Wind and Shocks.✌️❤️🤘

The new Hagane EP is amazing. Sakura is a phenomenal guitarist and songwriter. Junna is fantastic. The new singer is perfect for their sound. The brand new Mana diagram EP is really impressive, much better than their first song Glitter Wind. Uyu sounds better than ever. Hagane’s break up was a gut punch but it really worked out for the best. I’m glad Nemophila is pressing on. They seem like they’re in good spirit's and their bond is strong. More prominent Haraguchi-San is never a bad thing. I wish Saki the best. Her new solo song is pretty good. The pop covers aren’t my cup of tea but she plays them masterfully.

I am very pleased with the new, more refined Nemophila and their new approach with their music. Also, the Hagane situation was good for them, the new EP has a better link between the songs. The first album they put out was good, but it didn't come together very well as a whole process. New Hagane is amazing. Aldious has lost 3 great vocalists and 2 great drummers. It's hard to imagine them being able to have a solid line-up again. Bridear also went through many guitarists & a drummer. It seems more rare that groups can stick together these days.

@skallagrimr_kweldulfsson. Life Goes On is terrific, though Episode0 is also great, with Wintry Sky being one of my absolute faves from the band. Loving Nagi's voice more and more with each successive listen, and while Junna may lack some of the subtlety of Kanako's playing, one could never accuse her of phoning in a performance. Both are worthy replacements for Kanako and Uyu.

nano.RIPE has going through so many member changes than they decide to be a two member band. That's surprissingly common in japan groups nowadays with facilities in get support musicians, as those who are part of the idol singers, cuz they only has to play instruments and have lesses contributions to the song writting or compossing i guess.

Can we please stop comparing Fami to Miho please? It's exhausting reading those Miho/Fami comments because It's a serious total mismatch. Aside from formerly playing bass for LOVEBITES, Miho was the main manager, supervisor and promoter of the band since she led and created it. The LOVEBITES project was in fact her little personal baby. And she also contributed by writing the heaviest and iconic songs of the band as almost all the thrash metal songs prior to Judgement Day were all signed by Miho. Most people simping Fami don't seem to realize what losing Miho really means. No wonder why LOVEBITES almost imploded/got disbanded after her departure and why this band literally lost its classic 80s thrash touch. Fact is, you'll never hear another song similar to 'Hammer of Wrath' or 'Break the Wall' with LOVEBITES because Miho isn't with them anymore. And don't come to me with 'Stand and Deliver' as it's an NWOBHM-like song or classic metal song to make it simple.

  • @Richzee777

@@GardenOfDestruction I don't have any disagreements with your statement, generally speaking. Or I can say that I agree. I don't understand the term "simp" in this context. But to clarify, I will always appreciate what Miho did for this band. If you noticed, I intentionally used very vague generic language on a video titled "Japanese Bands That Changed Their Lineup Over the Years!!" Only trying to first say that Miho was a contributor to this band, And that was important to me. And, I think that Fami is doing just fine. I don't think my statement indicates much more than that. I'm trying to keep it simple. As of September 2021 there is only one direction for Lovebites and that is forward. I'm really not trying to make any direct comparison because I know that is completely pointless.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but after hearing new material from both parties, I think Nemophila is better without Saki and Saki is better without Nemophila. @@skallagrimr_kveldulfsson Remember, better is subjective. From my point of view, two extremely skilled guitarists drowned out Hara on bass. The revisions so far bring Hara to the front. Being able to hear the bass is huge in my books, I love the sound of it. Misa's bass is heard easily in Band Maid songs - which I love, and now Hara's bass is easily heard. In the original Rise you have two guitar solos mid song, in the updated version, you've got Hazuki's guitar solo followed by Hara's bass solo. It's different, but still great, and better as far as I'm concerned.
