Hello friend, I wanted to know what your experience has been with the welding machine and if you recommend I buy it?

Hello, I use this welding machine since 4 months now and I would like to give you m'y experience. Like always with afordables chinese tools, the accessories are poor quality (gas tube, hammer). The graphite wire feeding is well made. There IS 3 wheels wire feeding (0.6 to 0.8 and 0.8 to 1mm Vshaped for steel wire and a 1 to 1.2 mm Ushaped wheel for aluminium). You need to buy Kshaped wheels to experience a better flux core steel welding. Functions : - TIG lift is usable but without a gas electrovalve regulation or high frequency starter, its not very usable for stainless steel or wathever. - MIG MAG IS quite good with synergic mode or manual mode. The welding IS great even if there are some parameters you need to adjust according to your welding position. The wire roller system with only 2 rollers does well with 1kg and 5kg wires. BUT you need to clear thé system often to keep it safe. - no complains with MMA, good penetration, arc stability and take off with rutiles sticks (basics sticks require a larger U0 than thé machine has but it works nowadays). Spare parts are lacking on hitboxweld website distribution (for example, there's no wheels, no gas diffusor and no parts replacement for thé machine). To conclude, I think this IS a good welder if you compare welding quality and cheap cost and if the welder keeps working after Time pass. I dont think it will last 20 years like my old SAF fro AC MMA welder but today inverters have a lot more electronic parts so its natural they suffer more. I own another hitbox welder, a 200A pulse TIG with HF which last since 2 years (approximatively 200 hours welding) and works well on stainless steel even if arc stability under 30A IS worse than an esab, Miller or lincoln professionnal TIG.

Would be nice if you cleaned the welds you are showing. And what about penitration? No snap test ir at least a butt weld so we can see

My example works well with MIG-MAG for cobalt steel and I have also tested it with FLUX core which was ok but I don't like FLUX as it pops and smokes. I have not tested aluminum as it requires too much fixing. In contrast, the TIG LIFT system is totally useless. I have been chatting with Hitbox for 2 weeks and they are completely clueless about how a weld works. They send a video that shows how to handle/set up the welding for LIFT. Totally worthless, they have to dab the tungsten electrode (which is blunt!) a lot of times before they ignite. They increase the Amp setting to get the welder's recommendation to over 130 Amps

Because they don't have built-in high frequency units which is also why they are "scratch start" in Tig mode

capped output is for spool gun. the four pins, 2 for spool gun motor and 2 for trigger switch. if you buy the hitbox spool gun, it has the right connector. i am trying to figure out which pins for the switch, so i can use those two pins for tig switch; probably need to remove the cover and see the wirings. the manual is very basic, and no schematic.

Hi again, Another question. What tig torch should I get for this machine? Thanks again! Also, can you suggest a good all around book that would be good for a beginner?

Best thing is youtube or Google tutorials. Are you can do like I did when I got out high-school in 2006. I thought I knew it all and was ready to start welding off the bat but I was convinced to just start as a helper in a fab shop and I learned more watching the welders weld 11 hours a day then I did in any school or books. I took my test after 6 months as a helper but before that I thought I was ready and knew it all but I was so wrong I barely knew anything I was like a welding monkey I knew how to do it but didn't know why or how it was all happening so I wasn't ready to fix things that wasn't already perfect like they are in welding schools.

I MUST KNOW THE (FEED MAXIMUM) DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 110 AND 220V POWER. 10. M/MIN IS ALL I GET WITH 110

Hi make and test. I bought one of this hitbox SYN mig 200 pro welder. Mine's did not come with the tig torch, so I order one but the input end is too small for the connection port. I don't know where you get yours. I'm asking if you can provide me a link for one. Or where can I get it. Can I also get the dimension and the measurement for it and a code number if it has any?.

You are mistaken as most of users of this welding machine or it's previous version HBM2280. Welding with fluxcore self-shielding wire (FCAW mode) needs to be done on straight polarity i.e. "-" on torch and "+" on detail. Incorrect polarity is the main cause of severe slagging and spattering of metal. You may reconnect the cable on the front panel and redo the test. You'll see the much better result!

Has anyone verified the amp output on this one with a AC/DC clamp meter? I bought a 220v 250a HZXVOGEN hvm270 and the output was roughly half the setting. 200a setting read in the high 80s....

Is this on 220? I was looking at the hvm270 due to alleged high amperage but am now considering the one in this video due to lower alleged amp control for sheet metal.

@@idontwantcorporateretaliat6301 yes it was on 220 the unit was defective and the seller pulled the item off their store. Went with the hitbox mig-200PRO instead and have been very happy with it. Has proper output just doest have the plasma cutter.

@@pauleggert1863 Do you know what this LCD one offers over the MIG250? Does it have DINSE 25 or 50 connectors? 6-5r plug or 120 to 220 adapter? I'm considering this but the arccaptain 200 seems to offer upgrades in those areas from what I can see.

I have just got the same machine. With mine there's a Burn Back knob inside, what's this for? And after 5 seconds the wire feed speeds up and I see no way to slow it down, anyone else have the same issue?
