    Love these unedited videos. I I can't think of anything I'd rather be watching or doing. Well, maybe soaking baits myself and watching KyakCatfish. I greatly appreciate all the content you bring to us, and all the effort you put into sharing knowledge that's taking you years of trial and error to learn yourself. There is no other channel that compares to yours for a new catfisher to gather knowledge and have success if they put their time in.

    Man JJ I love to talk garden and tillers. I’m gonna be posting pictures of our garden in your Kayak Catfish page comments🙈. We got smaller tractor and I been looking for a tiller for it but I have 2 other rear tine I have had for years before I had a tractor. Our garden is like 60x60 and we have a few raised beds too. I give my neighbors a ton of food and we can a bunch too in the fall I got a basement full of all kind of canned stuff. Honestly we are making green bean casserole from our own home grown beans this weekend And it’s all organic I use no pesticide or herbicide. We make a pretty stout soil and just let the plant uptake the food as it needs.

    Airport rental fees are the highest in town. That’s why their prices are so high. You have to remember, airports are the first experience for visitors seeing that particular city. $$$$ = being the first face of a city. I worked for LRAA for years dealing with rental fees, bids, etc.

QUESTION: I watch quite a few of the Tennessee River guys and you all used to catch a lot more Stripers even as recently as 2 years ago. I can't remember the last time you (or Catfish Dave, or others) have hooked up a Striper. Have they had a problem in the watershed or river system there?

    So Ive watched this video about 4 times. Even went out and tried to replicate this technique and I had some issues. 1. When following these contour lines how do you keep the lines behind you from getting tangled up? Do you just make very gradual turns? 2. Depth changes? Do you have so much lines out that you still dont come up off the bottom if the depth changes say 5 or 8 feet?

  • @KayakCatfish

    @KayakCatfish

    2 ай бұрын

    The lines behind you shouldn’t get tangled unless a fish gets in another line while reeling it in. You do want to keep your turns gradual. I mostly drag in places like ledges where I don’t have to turn much. Your sinker should keep your bait down when the depth changes. If it isn’t, then you either need a heavier sinker or you need to let out more line.

    Congrats BTW down on Pickwick. Naw, this ain't a passive agreesive post or a lie. Simple ole "blow smoke up the ass" post. Your laugh, thing that drew me to watching. For you nay sayers, watch Caddy Shack and pay attention to the 18th hole lightning storm golf scene.

    I’m the last “farm” (acres over 5) on my road. The developer who’s put up cheap $365,000 houses that have no yards and you can spit from one to the next, ended a road, complete with sidewalks on each side, that ends at my fence. 🥴

    What kind of life vest do you use? I'm looking for something a bit more comfortable this year. Thanks! Edit: Love the conspiracy stories and Walking Dead talk. I'd be a Shane as well.

    I currently use an Old Town Lure life jacket. It’s a bit bulky and kinda hot in the summer but I like the big pockets it has. The most comfortable life jacket I ever had was an Astral V Eight.

    Talking about bassboats $80,000 and that's probably 18 footer, 21 or longer over $100,000 and that's still doesn't include 10 to $20,000 in extras and that's just the boat another 10 to $15,000 for fishing equipment. I heard Brian Latimer say pro bass tournament entry fee was $5000 you didn't even win enough for entry fee. Also probably one of your fish weighed more than their whole 5 fish limit.😅😅😅😅
