Thank you. So which do you think is the best method to get the least amount of doming from the four visuals in this short? The tea towel soaked in water seems to have the least doming from these four examples. Is that consistently the best method from your experience?

Hi Marylyn! Check out this video for more details: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4eErtp7aZm8YNo.html In short, water bath had the best results, but for ease I usually just use a lowered baking temp or cake strips which also do the job :)

If the temperature says 175 fan forced..do I still lower the temperature?

So if you use 350°F what would you put it at

But I dont have an oven I am baking the cake on a cooker what can i do ?????

That must take way longer to cook. For 20cm cake tin it might take 1 hour to bake 😫

Can I lower the temperature and not use cake strips?
