especially in Europe, and we didn't get the Dart anyway but the market for saloon cars is gone here. Everyone would buy a Hornet (including me! I think it's awesome!)

I would counter the vids claim that the T rex has a curb weight of 12,000 Lb, I'm thinking more like 12,000 is the max weight with payload. Subtracting the listed apparent payload of 5,000 leaves a believable 7,000 Lb vehicle.

Yea but the TRX is just a Ram with a hellcat engine I mean it's cool af and I use mine in forza all the time but meh dodge is putting the hellcat motor in to many rides now

I liked the ram T Rex the Hornet and the EV but that Dodge aviat looks like a disfigured jet

Most likely, the Hornet had a built-in first aid kit due to the fact that first aid kits are mandatory for all vehicles sold in Europe, and if Dodge was projecting that to be their target market, they would have to have that anyway. Great video as always!!

Honestly I would've loved to see the Hornet on the roads! I would've bought one for sure!!!!!

The dodge ev looks sweet. Reminds me of a lotus and as I’m typing this i hear lotus helped design it. Would have been sweet if it was gas powered and mid engined

If I recall correctly, the Dodge EV was called the Dodge Circuit! It was a nicely fitting name for driving home the point of an electric sports car (Circuit for track and also for the electrical system, Circuit Breaker for a car setting track records and also for the switch)! That car would've been quite a hoot! And comparisons with the Tesla Roadster would certainly get our attention due to the cars' shared Lotus genes! edit: I'd like to see the small golden roadster concept, the Demon, also from 2006 (same wheels as the Hornet, too)! It was one of my dreams when I was 13, back in the day! It's a shame it never made it to production!

@@illogicalgarage8641 Uh, I just said that they share genes! Our interest would certainly go to the battery technology and the performance of the electric motors of each car. But the Lotus genes in handling would quite simply be the icing on the two different cakes!

They should have built the Hornet after the Neon. Still would be a great addition today.

The EV exists, it's the lotus Europa just rebagged as a dodge. Which really confuses me, because it's literally a Europa badged as a dodge.

Especially now that fiat has the tipo, which is basically a renegade car, FCA should have made a little Chrysler 100 and the Dodge Hornet from the sedan and hatch, and given the dart the v6 to succeed the avenger better. I love my renny because of the hornet and believe that the market push to crossovers sent the small car over to jeep. Hoping a SRT Renny will come someday.

Short Circuit Some reliability is what would've made the dart a better successor to the avenger lol... And I don't think it had the platform for a V-6 to be shoved into it because the 200 was basically a rather modified version of the dart platform Which might explain how we had AWD and a V-6 option

The 200 Cherokee and dart share everything but some interior parts and the exterior metal like the 500x and renny. The platform and drivetrain are all the same which is why both were discontinued in favour to bring the plants to full Cherokee capacity. Same engine bay, same small pentastar v6 and 2.4 I4, same AWD system.

Short Circuit I'm familiar with the dart in the 200 sharing a platform, Of course the Cherokee would've been 200 based, as most small crossovers are based on the midsize sedan

Ikr. Lotus got their money worth licensing that chassis template over the years.

I'm diggin' the Aviat! I believe for '94 the design is ahead of it's time. Call me crazy but the rear shot at 1:19, I can see a prehistoric almost Neanderthal version of a Pagani Zonda. The side mirrors and bubble-dome cockpit make me think Zonda. The designers were dreaming on another level for '94.

I've seen the t-rex close up,thing was a monster...so cool!

3:01 A friend of mine owns a Landscaping Business. He bought a 6 wheel Drive T-Rex which he uses as a SnowPlow. He says the thing is unstoppable.

I thought the Dodge EV stands for "Electric Viper."

I thought I was looking at a Viper at first. Later I see Charger roofline, Viper-ish nose, and Caliber taillights.

Damn, The Hornet Sounded so Useful! The Table, the Cooler... the fact that the Seats folded Way Better than regular Foldable Seats, All Around a pretty cool car.

I can still see Dodge revisiting the T-REX, they are the only people doing fun and crazy things.

Like the overall concept of the Hornet, and it may indeed have been better than my Dart. But it is heavy, and the interior makes me think about the first generation Caliber, specifically rock hard plastic. That and one has to wonder about how those seats would work on long trips. But that said, if they could produce one today, I'd certainly take a close look.

The only good thing about the Aviat is the fact that it would go great with the GM Ultralite.

The ram T-Rex and that little box car that was half Euro half Am, both were badass.

Hornet reminds me of the MG Metro 6R4. Mainly the front with the headlights that are too tight together.

In my hot wheels I have of them in my package remember some made but never made to sell to drive 😥

Wow. That Hornet has a huge cargo bay and then this thing has drink chillers, first aid kit, more storage, and a navigation screen for 10,000.

The t-rex used to go on tours. They brought it to the Sturgis drag strip and parked it on a big pile of dirt they dug up to show it off. I was 14, the guy driving it said it was a gutless pig lol.

They could still do the Hornet, perhaps using the Renegade/500L platform. They could really use a competitor to all the Asian "letters"... CX-3, HR-V, C-HR, & the Trax/Encore.

Reluctance for electric? Dodge had electric concepts in the 90s. I remember binge watching the ‘Viper’ tv show, from ‘94 and spotting a variety of concept/upcoming cars including the Prowler.

The only concepts that caught my eye was the EV, Trex, and Ram Rebel TRX
