Thanks Jack! Sure is hard to beat fresh fish on the campfire👍
If you’ve ever flown a “control line” model airplane then lining a canoe in swift water is no problem lol Clint did a great job A wonderful trip

Now there’s a fun fact I was unaware of haha Thanks for watching, Alan!
Thoughts of the Voyageurs with this. 55 strokes a minute while bellowing out songs like c'est l'aviron to cadence the rowing, you and Clint would do that well...the singing that is. Those were some unique men during a unique time in history. Something in this vid that stirred those thoughts...?? Good video!

Well I’m glad I could help conjure up those thoughts for ya Rick! 55 strokes a minute 😅 that’s definitely not me haha. A wise man told me a few years ago, “I travel at two speeds, slow and slower.. Any faster and you miss the beauty that surrounds you.”
This is great! Thanks for taking me away.

Glad you enjoyed it, James!
Alway enjoy your content. So humble, great respect for nature and you’re doing what I love most. I might have to try out having my dog run along shore, she is too high energy to sit still in the canoe.
I feel like I just had a mini vacation while watching this😊really well done THANK YOU🌲✌🏼

Awesome adventure 👊 Temagami is also one of my favorites, along with the Moon River, North Bay,Sudbury, Timmins area. Been camping these areas for over 35 yrs and hopefully for another 20+ yrs. Thanks for the share Brother 👊

I enjoy the calm mindset you carry with you while trippin, makes for a peaceful video. Didn't know you had someone with you till you were in the rapids, funny. Really nice country to spend time in and love the drone shots!

Thanks a lot, James! Definitely a few moments when I was looking at the screen while flying and just said “wow I can’t believe this is real”
Can we get the name of the River you were travelling? Awesome looking trip.

Always is. The second river is the Makobe River. We paddled only the lower half on this trip. The upper portion is even more stunning, can catch Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Walleye aplenty. Look up Temagami Outfitting Co if you want some help putting a trip together.

Just found your channel and subscribed. Great content. I worked as a jr. Ranger back in 1969 in temagami and have been returning ever since. Thanx for the memories

Use Google Maps ... you'll figure it out. But take advantage of this guy for a guided trip, as it could be tricky.
One of your videos showed in my feed the other day and looked interesting so I opted to watch. Suddenly this familiar face appears, and I'm thinking, "that sure looks like Clint Zold". But I knew I wasn't watching his channel, so I'm wondering if this fellow could be Clint's twin! lol. Long story short I checked the description and discovered you two are friends. Totally cool, brother! I hear he'll be leaving for the trapline soon. When do you anticipate some current footage with him?

Hey Jason! Good eye… Im afraid the world can only handle one Clint Zold haha. Yeah the last few videos have been with Clint, got some more canoeing videos planned later in May, but at some point this summer we’ll get together to do a trip of some sort and hopefully check out his cabin..Lots of work to do there before trapping season..Thanks for the comment man
Loved this video amazing footage 👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent video mate, we really enjoyed it. It got us really excited for our spring trip this year. Just editing up some content up from last year as well, it is so enjoyable to go through past trips. Just subscribed so keep the adventures coming.

Hey thanks a lot! It really is fun to look back on eh haha, no better way to get amped up for paddle season!! All the best to you both!
I love this area! How deep is the river? Is it possible to use a little tin boat throughout the river?
@MattSteeves
Жыл бұрын
Hey Matthew! Not a river for tinners for sure, definitely canoe country.
This video inspired me to do my own temagami trip including the makobe! Mind if I ask a few questions?
man what are you using to get that slight still-moving shots around your campfire/ site... it's really cool! Anyway, I subbed lol
