Thoughts of the Voyageurs with this. 55 strokes a minute while bellowing out songs like c'est l'aviron to cadence the rowing, you and Clint would do that well...the singing that is. Those were some unique men during a unique time in history. Something in this vid that stirred those thoughts...?? Good video!

Well I’m glad I could help conjure up those thoughts for ya Rick! 55 strokes a minute 😅 that’s definitely not me haha. A wise man told me a few years ago, “I travel at two speeds, slow and slower.. Any faster and you miss the beauty that surrounds you.”

Alway enjoy your content. So humble, great respect for nature and you’re doing what I love most. I might have to try out having my dog run along shore, she is too high energy to sit still in the canoe.

Always is. The second river is the Makobe River. We paddled only the lower half on this trip. The upper portion is even more stunning, can catch Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Walleye aplenty. Look up Temagami Outfitting Co if you want some help putting a trip together.

Use Google Maps ... you'll figure it out. But take advantage of this guy for a guided trip, as it could be tricky.

One of your videos showed in my feed the other day and looked interesting so I opted to watch. Suddenly this familiar face appears, and I'm thinking, "that sure looks like Clint Zold". But I knew I wasn't watching his channel, so I'm wondering if this fellow could be Clint's twin! lol. Long story short I checked the description and discovered you two are friends. Totally cool, brother! I hear he'll be leaving for the trapline soon. When do you anticipate some current footage with him?

Hey Jason! Good eye… Im afraid the world can only handle one Clint Zold haha. Yeah the last few videos have been with Clint, got some more canoeing videos planned later in May, but at some point this summer we’ll get together to do a trip of some sort and hopefully check out his cabin..Lots of work to do there before trapping season..Thanks for the comment man
