    This is the first time I've listened to past life stories by you. You did a great job narrating them. Kids past life memories was the thing that made me become comfortable thinking about death. It's actually a pretty common thing for kids to talk about a previous life for a while when they are very young. Five stars to the video, thanks for doing it !

    Thank you so very much for doing one on past lives. I have had my own experiences with past lives which I have been able to retain. I have been studying past life reincarnation & past life regression since I was seven years old. So it's been many, many years. Thank you again. This was truly awesome.

    Speaking of carnivals...... Hearing the word carnival brought back some FUN memories. It brought me back to the late 80's and up. What im talking about is the carnival that came to your city for one week maybe 2, then picked up and moved to the next city over for a week or 2 and so on. These were the REAL carnivals. The smell of cotton candy and elephant ears (fried dough with cinnamon & sugar on top YUM) and the rest of carnival food. For me it was hanging out with friends, meeting boys, and even riding the rides. Pure nostalgia!!!🎪🎡🎠😢😊

    When people are dying from the cold, they often take their clothes off. They get to the point where they mistakenly think they're hot instead of cold, because the cold burns so badly. I don't know if there was some other kind of evidence that made them suspect foul play, but honestly her clothes being off or partially off shouldn't immediately make them think that.

    I don’t doubt these kids, knowing things that they could never know. But what makes this hard to believe, is that people get to choose their life. I certainly cannot imagine choosing mine & I know my life is not the worst thing people experience. Maybe there’s some trade off given to people. Like ‘if you choose this one now, you’ll get a much better one next time?’ Idk. Weird to think about.

    My life has entailed many of the worst things that can happen. More than 5 years ago, I'd have said someone is insane claiming I chose this life. However, now that I've healed from it, I do believe I chose it for many reasons. Once you heal the pain, you get to see the gifts 💚✨️

    It's a really delicate and hard to explain concept, however I do have some general ideas/thoughts about why/how it might be possible that we choose our lives despite some of them being so horrible. I'm certainly no authority on it, and would never assume my ideas are correct, or that they apply to/explain every single person's experience. That being said (and I do believe it's different reasons for different people), some possibilities might be 1) as Remnants said, I think some of us have to volunteer every once in a while, as not all lives can be glamorous or fun, and someone's gotta be that person, 2) in _some_ cases (and we often don't realize this until much later on) a bad experience was actually necessary in order to learn a life lesson/grow as a person, or 3) it has more to do with karmic cycles involving things that happened in previous lifetimes. By this I can mean a number of things: either that you had a bad experience in a previous life, and your soul is still traumatized by it and needs to work through it, but can't until it's faced it again, and because you don't consciously remember/understand that you need to face it, your life plan was basically to have something similar happen again so that it can be faced and this time healed. The alternative is that it's more along the lines of, in a past life, for example, you were a man who mistreated women because you didn't understand the pain you were causing them, and now in this life you are a woman being abused to karmically understand what you did before. Now, I don't wanna make anyone think they're being punished for something, if that seems to ring true for anyone: it's not about punishment, but rather to give you empathy. A person who doesn't know any better will keep doing crappy things until they do know better, and they have to learn in order to do that. I believe that many souls, when starting off with the wrong circumstances/upbringing, were crappy people in their first life, until they then reincarnated and experienced being on the other end of it. I think it's just kind of an unfortunate common side effect of growth for the average soul. To become a better person, you have to experience first-hand _why_ something is so horrible. Everyone who thinks, _Well I didn't have to go through this to understand that it's bad to do that to someone,_ I believe that's because you've already gone through it in past lives (or you were just raised to believe it's bad (or both?)), even if you don't remember these past-life experiences. I'd wager if you're someone who seemed to be born with a lot of empathy for things you haven't personally gone through, you do feel like an old soul, or feel weirdly drawn to other time-periods/lifestyles/cultures?

  • @aisleelovegreenwood6448

    @aisleelovegreenwood6448

    6 күн бұрын

    I'll also add the probability that a brand new soul with absolutely _zero_ physical/emotional experiences, who therefore has _zero_ concept of pain of any kind, would probably sign up for a painful life not really understanding what they're getting themselves into. I would imagine that they're just so curious, and due to their naivete, might dismiss any warnings they're given that it won't be very pleasant. I can see them thinking, _Well everyone else is doing it: I don't wanna be left out! I don't wanna sit up here never knowing what it was like!_

    (Just a quick loving message). I'm sure that a lot of the people who click on this thread have gone through some really horrible crap, and are perhaps still in a lot of pain. I have, and am, and I really struggle with my will to be here. I know first hand about trauma, as well as having both physical and mental health issues, which then lead to other big problems developing in one's life. On the other hand, my mom also struggles with similar things, and I often seriously war with myself on whether I have the right to beg her to continue to live and not leave me alone. I don't want her to be in pain, but I also feel like her worst problems are in her mind (while she has real problems, she psyches herself out into feeling like they're big enough reasons to die over when they're really not (I believe I also do this to myself sometimes)), and I don't want her to have ended it all if she was actually just meant to work through her issues and heal from them. I often wonder the same about myself, though I have absolutely no idea how to do that. I often feel stuck due to various circumstances (money, disabilities), and so I likely know exactly how she feels. What I will say is this: while sure, there is a chance that if we reincarnated, we would have an easier time overcoming these issues, there's also a chance that we'd just be stuck in the same karmic cycles over and over again: always suffering and always refusing to actually just resolve it in favor of starting over. This wouldn't solve anything, and would just prolong our suffering. I truly believe that we're meant to find a way to heal in this lifetime. I kind of hold the belief that that might be why certain religions tell you not to commit suicide, because someone/something from the other side warned them that it only ultimately prolongs your suffering. Now, these are just my thoughts, and I'm not here to tell you what to think. Only that, first of all, if you _are_ in a bad place like this, I'm so sorry for your pain. I can't and _won't_ tell you what the best choice for you to make is. All I know is, I've heard a _lot_ of people insist that _it does get better._ Sometimes it feels like they're wrong, because it's already gone on for so long. When is it going to get better? Why did it have to go on this long? If we really do get to pick our lives, why would we _choose_ this horrible experience? All I can say is, despite what I've gone through, I personally believe that we do plan things out, and we plan them that way for a reason, which means that you also planned a way for you to get _out_ of this. It wouldn't be pointless: you wouldn't make yourself suffer for no reason and to no end. It might be that you were meant to experience it for a while because some things just needed time to move around, or it might be that you've only been experiencing it for as long as you have because you've been stubbornly refusing to do something. Is it to talk to a specific person involved? Is it to go to therapy? Are you avoiding these things out of fear? Anger? Sadness? When you come out on the other side of this situation, you might look back and feel that the solution was so simple, and it was always available to you, you just refused to take it for a long time. So please, before you make yourself repeat this cycle all over again...just take some time. Consider the things you've been unwilling to do. The people you refuse to talk to, or explore what resources might exist out there that perhaps you never knew about. Look up programs through the internet (or your local community) that actually help people in a similar situation to yours, _and then actually be willing to accept that help._ I know how horribly embarrassing it is. I know it's impossible to get yourself to do so. Do it anyway. Seriously.

    I was born the same day , hour & minute that the Titanic hit the Iceberg. I’ve always been drawn to the Titanic & I’ve always felt a connection to the ocean as well as a deep rooted fear of it. It was more intense as a child though. These days , not as much. But I can’t help but wonder if I was reincarnated from a person who died on that ship. Once during an EVP session I asked to be connected to my ancestors, and the responses were “they sank” “ they all sank” “all the way to the bottom”. I get chills when I think about it.

    @@AsTheRavenDreams I have talked with numerous people who have experienced deja vu or had premonitions days to years before the actual event even happened. It just makes you wonder why some people experience more unexplained events than others. I do not necessarily think that sensitivity is necessary to have more unexplained events than others. I am probably sensitive and have unexplained events sporadically throughout my life.
