I loved this!! I think that the two day method is better to watch because you're more awake etc and actually visually enjoying the reading experience! I feel like you can't truly enjoy a book if you're exhausted!

What you are doing is very wonderful. I advise you to read religious books, especially the Abrahamic religions.

I prefer the timer method. Feels like vlog vibes rather than just book updates!

i love the two 12 hour days! i agree that it seems a lot more enjoyable. after watching this i am definitely filming a 24 hour readathon this month!

I might have to pick up Loveless 🤔 I was the same in high school and when I mentioned I never dated or kissed to people they acted like I was a rare species or something was wrong with me. I never cared about it even when people tried to make me care, I think I was mature for my age. I didn’t like anyone (romantically) so personally I wasn’t just going to date/kiss just anyone. I wish there were more YA that showed it was normal and nothing is wrong with teens if they experienced the same thing

i love your videos so much❤ also i think this method is really good but if you wanted to incorporate the timer you could just block out 2 days of your schedule and time them so you still stretch out the reading like normal but just have the visible satisfaction of reading for 24 hours

unsure if you’re aware of this, but the poppy war is based on the sino-Japanese war! so a lot of the horrific things described actually happened. obviously much worse in real life, Rebecca said she couldn’t include some of the things that actually happened for it to published.

As far as 24hrs readathon I either do " read for 24hrs in however many days it takes" or " 24 in 48", where I time 24hrs in a span of 48 hrs (12 each day). Can t do 24hrs straight, it s a waste of time 😁

I highly recommend to read other alice oseman books, i have read all of her books and they are all really good !

I love the asmr when you read a book and flipping a book haha
