Nah you right. Also bringing up the removing shoes; don't most places in Asia do that? I do t think that's something that would get brought up except in contrast to somewhere like the us

I can't speak for the people in the video, but if I listen to people speak a language I'm learning, it's harder for me to distinguish their regional accents than it would be for a native speaker.

I dunno my nation is odd. It's like this the Census says if you are from the continent Asia or the east like near Central Asia you are Asian. So like a Kazakh is asian and asian American literally is you are a descendant of Asia parents or heritage. This applies for anglosphere due to the 'global powers' It's odd but yes, she is Asian American
