Cause when an american commander would ask if they needed reinforcements the british would reply "it's a bit sticky". Which roughly translated into "it's a massacre". Many positions had to be abandoned because americans assumed everything was under control. Since you know... "a bit sticky" is what everyone calls any situation in a war More complex to understand than your girlfriend when asking what she wants to eat The brits literally replied back "Lmao we got this... unless? Nah jk"

its actually funny how lore accurate brickys first turn was. tau see demons n nids across the battlefield, n think "oh fuck, lets see if the imperium will listen to reason n team up against the super evil guys over there". The imperiums response was to say "ye man sure!", then immediatly turn there tanks around, and obliterate the xenos immediatly.

@@PrometheusEpimetheus Rarely. Most of the time it's Eldar using a weak Imperial force as cannon fodder while they withdraw, or they execute the Imperial guard right after the fight while the guard is weak since they can't fight for literal days like Eldar can.

I mean realistically nids and chaos are higher priority than tau and eldar to anyone that isnt an ordo xenos inquisitor or deathwatch. There's plenty of examples of temporary alliances between said groups in order to fight off chaos, nids, or orcs.

I died when he said he needed the codex because no tau player knows how to fight in melee. And I say that even after I once killed a wolf priest or what they are called with 6 fire warriors in 2 melee rounds. xD

worst part is even though those guardsmen won against forces that consist of a demon primarch 2 keepers of secrets . the swarm lord and some mechs. they are still going to get offed by the inquisition after this for seeing the demon primarch

That's what fudging reports are for and just saying it was a weird red xenos and his consorts. The greatest strength for the guard is just saying weird must just be xenos no need to call the inquisition. This is how you be both a competent and alive commissar.

This feels like the Imperial Guard sent in 6 tanks to wipe out a company of T'au that have multiple Battlesuits and then the Tyranids showed up and then Magnus decided he wanted to intervene in the conflict for inscrutable reasons.

The Tau decimation at round 1 was the best

Imperium sees two of it's greatest and quite likely most hated enemy's. Also sees Tau offering an alliance and chance at victory. Immediately kicks Tau in the nuts screaming carpe diem! Meanwhile the scary insane grape daemons see all this and realize those idiots over there straight up aren't a threat and go for the bugs because those could be a problem. This battle was pretty lore accurate and I love it.

The imperial guard, In fact, and I got six tanks in that whole deal I made (super cheap by the way) I was so stoaked by having six tanks (and a baneblade, but who is counting) I even said that I was a proud owner of six tanks, and now that I see what six tanks can do... If anybody watches adeptus ridiculous, which I recommend, Bricky makes a statement about that the imperium could wipe out tau as a faction but they would be then exposed and destroyed by other factions in 40K. After watching this are you so sure Bricky?

Just imagine if Bricky never missed any roll in that first round? Tau would have been eliminated in just one round. Plus, if the Tau Mechs end up exploding as well. Sucks to be Tau at times....and yet they have some cool stuff but seem to just suck on tabletop.

Lol and all, but when it comes down to it's raw math, tau have probably less then 200 planets, even without space marines, if every planet mobilized to fight the tau, they could wipe them out even if it was just by crushing them all under the weight of there corpses

@@BloopTube The Tau are in a way a benefit to the Imperium. They make a good buffer between the Imperium and the Orks and other threats of the Eastern Fringe, while probably doing less damage then an Ork WAAAGH from that direction would do.

@@BloopTube a single space marine chapter would have a hell of a time actually wiping out the the tau, the fact is that with the lore behind tau, there infantry can masscre anything except truly overwhelming force, 1,000 space marines, (which realistically the chapter should have less then that) would get fucked, pretty hard, they don't have the numbers to actually skirmish against tau forces, as smaller groups of marines can be dealt with by railguns and long range guns, and if they group up together they can't really do all that much to the surrounding area, which would lead to them getting cut off from there ships in orbit, and from there it's a waiting game for them to get whittled down, even if tau loses are high, a single chapter wouldn't enough as they ultimately don't have the bodies to tie up all the military forces on a world

This mightve been my favourite battle report ive seen yet. No clue on rules and such, but the chaos was so enjoyable

This game live was amazing. 1 "wrong" choice from one shooting and one melee army and it all goes to shit. Loved every second of it.

its nice to see a match where guy can just bust out their cool stuff they want to use instead of counting points and min maxing sometimes. makes it feel more like a natural conflict

I find it poetic that after bricky practically nukes the tau off the face of the earth, his reaction was "what have I done?!" The genuine reaction to the first atomic bomb tests was this kind of fear of the power that nuclear weapons would reveal and grant.

Really felt the pain when that Stormsurge exploded. I once had an Executioner blow up in my face in a similar fashion, killing another Exectioner, two Aggressors, my Techmarine and a single intercessor. Was hella fun tho

This game might have been an unbalanced cluster fuck, but it was incredibly entertaining to watch.

I know nearly nothing about Warhammer (huge fan of the lore, though-- absolutely incredible worldbuilding) and only clicked this video on a limb, but the sheer chaos of four fully-grown men yelling profanities as they smack action figures against each other had me choking up with laughter by the midway point of round 1.

i just started the video but i love the vibes and energy you guys bring. Hardcore gaming with respect to the rules and showing a full game played, but the most casual (in a good way) vibes and jargon that create a really at home feel. I think it’s good not only for very good battle reports in their own right, if more adult oriented, but i also think it can serve as a great way to eke those on the fence about the Hobby

This is by far the best bat rep I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen Toby take on the world.

Growing up (when I was 11-16) my bestfriend/neighbor's older brother had nearly all the Fantasy codexs(didn't have beastmen, empire, or vampire counts.) We wanted to play but didn't have armies. So we used his lego men to make armies(since we could put them on flat lego bases). Was a really nice way for us to each test armies out for a few years, so when we got jobs we all knew which army to buy.

Look at how Bricky massacred my boy. It's alright, I believe in the BDE (big Dik energy), and I'm not giving up on him that easily. Also, I appreciate Garrett going ham with his Bricky cosplay.
