Brilliant work, especially the lathe. Though it will be IMHO suffering from PVC elasticity, therefore it will lack precise machinery qualities, I really am amazed by how it's broken down to essential parts, i.e. it shows "how such machine works". Very inspiring!

I love the idea. I will try the press drill thing but not using pvc, And gonna use steel for more durability. Well I have many left over stainless tubular, sheets, rod, etc. On my previous project. And a 220 volts motor with speed adjuster so I'll gonna try this one.

Love the concept, execution & finished product(s)... esp the fact that they're all made from PVC, a material which most DIYers ignore. The only criticism I have is the lathe... in that it doesn't have a tailstock. This is usually a standard feature on most lathes (although not always a used feature). In this case, adding one wouldn't be an issue although some stiffening of the machine might be required.

Ah, yes. The humble PVC-the unsung hero of our age. A material so versatile, it can double as a spaghetti strainer, a portal to Narnia, and now, apparently, a mini-machine substrate. Bravo, PVC. Bravo. 👏🤖

Those were awesome! I especially liked how you used your previous builds to make the next ones. The saying is usually you could start with a lathe and build every other tool from it. Also, that lathe seems like it's a couple of stepper motors and a microcontroller away from being a CNC mill.
