I must have been very lucky. I've had a number of cats over the years but have never had this problem. Never heard of the word zoomies until a few weeks ago. They have their odd moments of energy spurts but not in the middle of the night. One used to bite my toes when he was a kitten but nothing on this scale lol

@debbie3218 Yup. You know it's bad when you don't dare move. I find it amusing when cats get indignant when you do it, but when the cats fart it's okay. Cat farts smell awful. 😭

One of my dogs likes the curl up next to my hip when I sleep. Recently, I ripped one and he indignantly went to go sleep on the far side of the bed.

My Norwegian like to get up at 4:30 to 5 and play with her toys. Every single day..... She's so sweet.

My cat is pretty sly about breakfast reminder! She pretends to be happy to come and snuggle up but it’s a ploy to get me up an hour before I really want to get up. Gotta love ‘em’ 🥰😽

Two small kitties with a set of dramatic stairs and a large two storey house to run in can sound like a group of wild bull elephants. The closer to 4 am it is, the louder it gets. Go figure.

oh man, i havent seen a simons cat video since i was a kid and just stumbled across this today!!! love that this series is still being worked on and is still just as cute as i remember :) the animation is so fluid too!!

As someone who has a Persian from Kuwait, I deal with the zoomies every day. And I love it.

Cat and Kitten are both cute, not just at all times, but when they bug Simon particularly during his bedtime.

Watching this piece as Kat is completing her triathlon which includes: "rock climbing" aka bending the bedroom window blinds, using me as a springboard, and last but not least, jumping on my dog before zooming to the kitchen and jumping onto the counter. All at 2 AM. 😴😐🥺🙄❤

My aunt's very shy kitty did this to my mother. "Whitley" was terrified of us when we visited, we hardly ever saw him save for a blur of movement every now and then. Then, in the middle of the night, he leaped onto Mom's bed and began racing back and forth in a full blown frenzy. He wasn't scared or angry with Mom, he was just having silly kitty zoomies, guests or no guests. And by morning he went back into hiding.

Mine was always 2.30-3.00a.m., complete with loudly singing me the song of her people! 😂

I love it every time. Simon's cat cartoons give me such happy feelings. Thank you Simon ❤

I've got one who will literally sit on my or my hubby's shoulder or chest and poke us in the face to wake us up. Always in the middle of the night too! He's really gentle, no claws, so he knows to be nice. It's adorable and irritating all at once.

When I discovered 'Simon's Cat' just last week, I couldn't believe I'd been missing out for 15 years. The first one I saw was about the 'daily life of a cat', and I laughed so hard I cried. I love the films: slapstick combined with a knack for showing typical cat body language and behaviors. I read that Simon Tofield loves wildlife, and I can see that in the attention to details and outdoor sounds when Cat roams his neighborhood with other creatures. As a cat lover, I've been through plenty of 4 AM zoomies too.

almost jealous at the amount you have to look forward to. On the channel just choose the "shorts" oldest first and work your way through them. It's watching a whole, hilarious story. First introduction to Kitten is my absolute favourite - the litter tray 😂😂😂😂. Enjoy!!

Thank you! I'll start watching them in order and then I'll be sure of seeing them all. I did click on a few at random before, including 'Double Trouble' with the intro to Kitten. He was hilarious doing a kitten's typical sideways jumps, and then Cat grumbling and pointing at the box like, 'Who's gonna clean that up?'
