I've seen plenty of animations done to songs to represent a characters personality, but none have been this faithful to the source material while also being so cleanly animated. Massive massive props.

OH MY GOD? i've wanted to see an animation of this song with spamton for so long and holy christ does this deliver. the level of detail and care in this animation is astounding; the flavor text throughout is a particularly incredible touch. the strings snapping at the end... GASTER... GODDDD it's too good!! i also really love the 3d phone, it just looks great... thank you so much for making this, this video deserves a million views at the bare minimum and i suspect at least half of them will be from me.

There was one for Spamton that came out a year before this??? I agree, it's still amazing, my favorite one... but there were stull already a few using the song for him 😂

In hindsight you should've had the "911 What's your emergency" guys be Ambyu-Lances instead of Virovirokuns, but this is still REALLY good, regardless.

I actually had planned for those guys to be in those parts, But I wanted virovirokun to be talking, so was going to put them in the background or something, but then I couldn't find a place to fit them so I ended up just cutting them out

Also Virovirokuns also have an association with the year 1997 (it's one of their off-to-the-side diolouges when you battle one) Which actually if a cute reference to Spamtons virus-like character but could also have real lore to it!! Oh gawd I went on a tangent

WOW! This is SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! The scene content & directing, authentic looking ad windows, edit timing, & Spamton's facial expressions are all soooo amazingly done! Dark & disturbing with a bit of quirkiness, perfect for the song! The fantastic old VHS tape effects, interspersed text pleading for help & displaying insanity, slamming his fist on the Dumpster & NEO's string snapping right on the BANG sounds, & all the scenes of Spamton getting more & more desperate on the phone are my favorite parts. Absolutely phenomenal work!

The "automated message system" at the end perfectly matches Spamton getting ghosted by Mike, that is an awesome coincidence.

I just stumbled on this, woooowww its so good, the aesthetics and colors, the slight graininess over everything, the art style, the song itself, even the cut to a real phone at the end - all of these choices fit Spamton so perfectly, omg. This is super well thought out, I love it so much

I love this so much. I saw it the other day on Twitter and I’m glad I found it here so I can support the creator by watching it over and over lol

admittedly, i had low expectations for this video as i have a bias towards animation memes for being generic and low quality but my god, this one takes the cake, the quality is pretty good for an animation that looks like actual effort went into this! to the animator itself, you did a fantastic job and hope you continue to grow on future projects! always keep improving!
