If anyone knows anything, they will know this is about 99% luck. As a long time poker joint owner, I've seen enough players to know for sure that if you are at a certain skill level (like knowing any pocket pair under 10's, is a terrible hand and can be beat in so many ways). Its funny how 66 against AK is exactly 50/50 pre-flop so that should tell you its luck. if you get the best cards, you can't lose.

Buddy I'm a poker pro. Long term (100 000 hands+) there are a lot of strategies with which you can win versus amateurs. 10-1000 hands yes, an amateur can beat me. There's a reason long term good pros win and long term amateurs lose. Also you and your competition shouldn't be at a certain skill level, you should be better.

If you've got pocket pair of aces, you can't lose, right? Your opponent has 72 off suit, calls you. The flop is 89,10 of clubs. You bet. The seven two raises. The river is the jack of clubs. 8, 9, 10, and Jack of clubs on the board. Seven Duice goes all in, you will lose because you won't risk all your chips.

Are you joking, let's say opponent got AK, if he gets a pair of ace or king, he can't win against Aces compared to going against any other pocket pair

@@ivangolec4257 If you have, say, a pair of 2s and a full table (10 people), there's a decent chance that someone will have a higher pocket pair (a 42% probability). If neither of you hits something like 3 of a kind, a straight, etc, then the higher pair wins. It's a question of the potential, the probability of what it can turn into. It's the strongest position you can be in before the flop (though, overall, the probably that you end up winning against a single opponent with aces is about 80%, so you shouldn't go too crazy with them)
