It wasn't that bad exploring the underground without a map, to be honest. But to each their own. 👍

Genshin 4.0 actually surpasses my expectations. The tease they gave us about fontaine only show a small fraction of Fontaine underwater exploration. And now we know that Underwater exploration cover 50% of Fontaine exploration, we knew it gonna be a blast. And why the heck I am so weirdly excited for the new Party background? XD

I love how all the characters have these new cool poses for the party setup but Alhaitham just stays in neutral pose bc it's Alhaitham

Did anybody else notice it? How the archons exude their element's auras in the party line-up screen? ^^ Nahida and Zhongli weren't seen but hopefully they do that, it's such an awesome touch

I'm so surprised by how few streamers knew about the glass harp before! It's something I grew up hearing and seeing, so I naturally thought it was commonly known

I hope the archon quest gets very dark lol. Idk I feel like it will with all the ominous music and the justice system seeming very corrupted

Honestly i just wish this arc can shed some light on what is happening in celestia and wtf us celestia, dain said focalors will not make an enemy of the divine and she's the only one who thinks that way so far as the 4 past archons. So i really wanna see celestia be somewhat involved in the story.

I'm so glad they considered the players' comfort underwater because as someone with thalassophobia, I was definitely uncertain about how the whole system will play out but so far it just seems fun to swim around! I'm also excited about the whole raining in the city and I hope it's not just a story thing because I've been wanting city rains since launch 😅

The environmental designers did say that they took inspiration from 18th century European paintings so I guess they did a good job

the way they deliberately made the first underwater areas colorful and bright and (relatively) peaceful so the players would feel comfortable in our ~very first~ diving experience....... why do i get the feeling that two versions from now theyre gonna send us into the watery hell depths of the fantasy mariana trench?

When inazuma came out,I immediately started to wait for Fontaine AND IT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

as much as i love sumeru, exploring the desert has been kind of a big pain for me and i ended up getting a genshin burn out and had to take a few months of break, so im SO SO SO happy that Fontaine is coming out! cant wait to try out whats new! AND FINALLYYYYYY AAAAAAA ANOTHER ARCHON QUEST, I'VE BEEN WAITING.

@@LongDeadArtist himiko is from an entirely different game with a different writing team and tingyuns fate is unknown for now. in genshin no playable character has died despite many opportunities to do so. they've done this type of tease multiple times now with genshin, for example kazuha in inazuma.

Everything seems so awesome and let's just say I'm quite FONT of what i saw for Fontaine. My only concern is the underwater combat part, feels like it's going to be monotonous in the long run, hopefully there's more. I think that they have done very good job at capturing the beauty of water but I would also love to see a bit of terror bc ngl the oceans and seas are absolutely terrifying, like we’ve only explored 5% of them, and I would find it really cool if there was some sort of really scary and spooky place like further down bc we know that genshin can get spooky and dark if it wants. Even cooler if there was some sort of monster (like apep size) down there, even just in the distance swimming around or a faint shadow moving on the edge of the map. I know that it probably won’t happen but I can’t help but dream bc I am absolutely terrified but also intrigued by the ocean

Well, we're already approaching 4.1 version but here I am still just as excited as when I first watched this 4.0 special program. Genshin Impact just gives me feels. Good and bad ones. I’m so excited for fontaine!! although the preview was great i feel like it was to much, it was great visually but i couldn’t understand everything because there was just so much 😅

took them 2 years to perfect and make sure the underwater mechanics is not a boring rehash of the land combat proves how I always say that we demand too much to this game that is so much open world than any other game. As I even explore glitch you'll notice everything is loaded in one instance. Example the eternal oasis is accessible if you glitch entirely below the sandstorm
