License is time-limited, does not include updates and finally stopped working on SketchUp8. Poof, there goes my money. Lesson learned.

To clarify: All licenses of previous and present 3skeng tools are not time-limited. You can use your purchased 3skeng tools as long as you want with the compatible SketchUp version(s). Currently we face technical issues with the activation server dedicated to the 3skeng version for SketchUp 8 and 2013. The server problems prevent activations and we have to kindly ask for your understanding! +3skeng for SketchUp Then you may have to revise your license agreements, which states: "The term of the license of 3skeng "Pipe" Detail Libraries is for a time-limited period of one year." The trouble with 3skeng is that the restrictive activation process will always need a connection to your SHK servers. It is like to be dependant from a cloud service that does not work.

The libraries are considered add-ons for the 3skeng Pipe tool and are indeed valid for one year as explained on website, license terms and the software itself. Activation process: The only time 3skeng ever requires contact to our servers is the initial activation and synchronization after a new installation of 3skeng. After that, you can actually work offline with your installation as long as you please.
